How many people were affected by the Holodomor [Famine-Genocide in Ukraine]

How many people were affected during the famine? Are there any sources for Soviet records on the Holodomor?

According to the official internal Soviet statistics, the number of excessive mortality in Ukraine in 1932-1933 was 1,532,700 people, of which 1 million 385 thousand in 1933.

A paradoxical fact of this is that in 1933 the total harvest for the USSR was 69 million tonnes (some think this number is overestimation due to the counting method used in the USSR and the actual harvest was about 50 million tonnes), compared to average 35 million tonnes during the war, which did not cause a hunger. The shipment of grain abroad was also drastically cut in 1933. The harvest of fish in 1933 was also very good.

From 19 March 1932 to 4 July 1933 the government shipped additional 1 million tonnes of food to Ukraine at expense of other regions.

It should be noted also that the most of deaths happened in June and July of 1933, during the summer, an non-typical time for hunger.

Another peculiarity of the deaths was that there were no reports of dystrophy which is typical for any historical hunger, including that of 1920s in Volga region, of 1947 and of the siege of Leningrad, as well as hungers in India. Instead, there were numerous reports of widespread tumescence.

It was conjectured by some historians that the actual reason for the excess deaths was a liver disease due to consumption of defective grain.

This could happen because a serious portion of grain was hidden from the state agents or stolen from the kolkhoz fields. The farmers could not purify and winnower their grain themselves because the necessary equipment was transferred to the kolkhozes in the course of collectivization.

It is known that consumption of such grain leads to exactly the same symptoms as those reported for the victims.

Also there were no reported cases of mortality in cities, which always consumed properly processed grain.

Kosior in his report to Stalin wrote:

Why they starve in Kiev oblast where we did virtually no grain procurements?

Overall the picture was the same: where the less were procurements, the higher was mortality.

It should be noted also that there were reported numerous cases where grain storages were found in households where all the family members were found dead.

Kosior wrote to Stalin:

There are facts that many kolkhoz and individual farmers under the influence of panic have hidden their grain, but at the same time they starve themselves. Only in Dnepropetrovsk oblast there were uncovered over 50 such cases.

According to one GPU repot,

At the household of kolkhoz woman Yurchenkova who reported that she was tumescending due to hunger it was discovered 8 poods of rye.

Given these reports and the harvest statistics (which was known to Stalin) it is possible to suggest that Stalin possibly thought that there was enough food available and the farmers intentionally had hidden it and starved due to their own greed.

The Western authorities on this are Robert Conquest (Harvest of Sorrow) and Timothy Snyder, already mentioned. Robert Conquest gives an estimate of 4 millions. Snyder is somewhat more conservative.

But we will never know the exact number: the earliest census after this was forged, and those who did it exterminated.

EDIT. In one comment a method of "asking random Ukrainians" is proposed. I am a Ukrainian, and my grandparents survived it, by escaping from a village to a large city (Kharkiv) shortly before it began. I lived in Ukraine for 36 years, and have heard plenty of eyewitness accounts.

From Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holodomor#Death_toll

A 2002 study by Vallin et al. utilizing some similar primary sources to Kulchytsky, and performing an analysis with more sophisticated demographic tools with forward projection of expected growth from the 1926 census and backward projection from the 1939 census estimate the amount of direct deaths for 1933 as 2.582 million. This number of deaths does not reflect the total demographic loss for Ukraine from these events as the fall of the birth rate during crisis and the out-migration contribute to the latter as well. The total population shortfall from the expected value between 1926 and 1939 estimated by Vallin amounted to 4.566 million. Of this number, 1.057 million is attributed to birth deficit, 930,000 to forced out-migration, and 2.582 million to the combination of excess mortality and voluntary out-migration.

According to historian Timothy Snyder, the recorded figure of excess deaths was 2.4 million. However, Snyder claims that this figure is "substantially low" due to many deaths going unrecorded. Snyder states that demographic calculations carried out by the Ukrainian government provide a figure of 3.89 million dead, and opined that the actual figure is likely between these two figures, approximately 3.3 million deaths to starvation and disease related to the starvation in Ukraine from 1932-1933. Snyder also estimates that of the million people who died in Soviet Russia from famine at the same time, approximately 200,000 were ethnic Ukrainians due to Ukrainian-inhabited regions being particularly hard hit in Russia.

According to the Encyclopædia Britannica, the overall number of Ukrainians who died from 1932-1933 famine is estimated as about four to five million out of six to eight million people who died in the Soviet Union as a whole.

The area which suffered most (per capita) from that famine was Northern Kazakhstan; Lower Volga region numbers are lower but comparable to Ukraine. Those dastardly Soviet rulers, it seems, "conspired" to exterminate mostly Russian population of Northern Kazakhstan and Lower Volga… but perhaps they were only doing that to distract the world from their real purpose, to kill all the Ukrainians, so that nobody would notice? There is really no logical explanation for this fictional "intentional Holodomor genocide" unless you believe the (ridiculous on its face) idea that Soviet rulers had deep and villainous hatred of specifically Ukrainians… why Ukrainians and not Tatars or Cossacks or Armenians? They must have tossed a coin, I guess.

The most logical (if you discount theories based almost purely on propaganda) explanation is that some (quite moderate) "natural" drought/famine was very much exacerbated by Stalinist policy of forced collectivization and also by the grain confiscation policies executed in 1929 and before, which among other things led to lack of seeding material. One of the semi-logical reasons was that USSR was desperately in need of hard currency for the rapid rebuilding of its industry and trying to level the military and industrial field (considering the prolonged "cold" and sometimes not very cold war Europe and USA still conducted vs USSR). So they did that by selling off whatever they had - art from museums, gold confiscated from churches, grains from the fields. Quite a debatable solution, to say the least, but that's what they did.

There was more than one Holodomor genocide in 20th century Ukraine. At least three major famine-genocides occurred: 1921-23, 1932-33, 1946-47.

Holodomor Is Ukraine's Never-Ending Trauma

On one boulevard you will encounter a rather squat, red granite statue of Lenin, his right hand aloft pointing to the proverbial better tomorrow that, thankfully, after 70 years finally became yesterday. The authorities refuse to dismantle the statue, claiming it has "historic" value. That's the communist touch.

Walk a few blocks down to a short, gray, treeless street called Passage and you will be assaulted by ostentatious conspicuous consumption: Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Bottega Veneta, Bally, Ferragamo. That's the nouveau riche, oligarchic touch.

Up the hill from these two telling spots stands a small -- and until, last week, the only -- monument to the victims of the 1932-33 famine in Ukraine. It was erected in 1993.

Together these three points in Ukraine's capital create a kind of historic Bermuda Triangle into which things disappear and people forget. Lenin gave birth to the people who created the famine luxury goods should make everyone forget the deprivations of the Soviet past and the pain of famine. But today almost 50 million Ukrainians somehow remain held hostage by one, two, or all three of these points of reference.

Ukraine's current president, Viktor Yushchenko, has made remembering the famine a cornerstone of his presidency. In 2006, the parliament passed a law recognizing the famine as an act of genocide against the Ukrainian people. Yushchenko went to great lengths to ensure that this year's 75th anniversary of the famine be commemorated on a national level. Foreign leaders participated in the commemorations conferences were held memorials unveiled, candles lit, and the names of the dead remembered.

In a particularly moving sign of solemnity, the president and the prime minister even suspended their endless bickering for a day to participate in the unveiling of the new memorial complex in the capital.

Death Of A National Identity

And yet large swathes of Ukraine remain deeply ambivalent about the famine. Eastern and southeastern Ukraine -- where the famine took its greatest toll -- even today, when the facts about the famine are widely publicized and accessible, has the fewest memorials. The first attempts to commemorate the victims took place very far away from Ukraine in fact Canadian-Ukrainians erected the first famine memorial in 1989 in Edmonton.

The late historian James Mace, who joined the famine project at the Harvard Ukrainian Research Institute and collected material for Robert Conquest's seminal work "The Harvest of Sorrow," called Ukraine a post-genocidal society. Becoming a famine expert in his own right, Mace made Ukraine his adopted homeland. He believed that what Ukrainians call Holodomor (murder by hunger), maimed Ukraine to such an extent that it created a discontinuity in the normal development of the Ukrainian people.

In the former Warsaw Pact countries, the collapse of communism brought about a restoration of a previous independence. But in Ukraine, the Ukrainian nation -- as a community possessing a clear sense of its identity, history, and cultural values -- remained a national minority in its own country even after independence. The damage from the Soviet legacy was such that Ukrainians lacked a broad consensus concerning their future. All that remained were the surviving structures of Soviet Ukraine. The country was no longer a Ukrainian Soviet republic, but it was also not a Ukrainian Ukraine, in the sense in which Poland is Polish or the Czech Republic is Czech.

The orchestrated famine wiped out millions of nationally conscious Ukrainians. Whether or not one accepts that the famine was genocide, there is little doubt that it was targeted against Ukrainian nationalism, against Ukrainian-ness. Mykola Khvylovy, one of the most popular and talented writers of the period and a committed communist, shot himself in helpless protest. The creative engine of a people was destroyed, slowing down and distorting nation building for decades. The Soviet regime prevented families and individuals from processing both personal and national grief. For more than 50 years, Ukraine could not address this trauma openly.

Ukrainian society, however, was soon to experience new shocks: the purges of 1937-38, war, Nazi occupation and the Holocaust, Soviet reconquest, and the 1946-47 famine. The scars of the Holodomor are overlaid by those of these other tragedies. Yet, under the consequences of these repeated blows, traces of the 1932-33 famine are unmistakable. Without taking it into account, for instance, it is impossible to account for the much weaker -- compared to what happened in 1914-22 -- Ukrainian national movement that arose in the great upheaval of World War II. Western Ukraine, which in 1933 was not part of the USSR, is not surprisingly the exception.

What does it mean to be Ukrainian today? What is Ukraine? What is the Ukrainian idea? Former President Leonid Kuchma at one time created quite an angry backlash by stating that the Ukrainian idea had not worked in Ukraine. If a country called Ukraine endlessly convenes conferences on self-identity, if pundits pontificate ad nauseum on "project Ukraine," if Ukrainians themselves can't define their identity or their values, then one can safely admit that the country has something of an identity crisis.

Is it important to have the world acknowledge the Ukrainian famine as an act of genocide? For the Ukrainian state, yes. But will such recognition help the country itself? Will it ease the effects of the famine trauma? Will it steer Ukrainian society onto a path of self-awareness? Will it compel the eastern Ukrainian citizen, who is descended from the ethnic Russians who were resettled into the towns and villages emptied by the famine, feel a connection to this country? Will it give the inhabitants of the more than 13,000 towns and villages that died in 1932-33 a voice and a name? And, most importantly, will today's diverse Ukrainians, who aren't particularly eager to listen to the stories of their painful past, hear those voices?

It seems to me that James Mace was on to something. The famine is not an only an event in Ukraine's past -- it is an event in its present and its future.

Russification

In parallel with the industrialization and collectivization drives, the Soviet regime commenced a campaign against “nationalist deviations” that escalated into a virtual assault on Ukrainian culture. Repression of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church culminated in the liquidation of the church in 1930 and the arrest and exile of its hierarchy and clergy. A clandestine organization, the Union for the Liberation of Ukraine, was purportedly uncovered by the secret police in 1929. In 1930 its alleged leaders—including the foremost Ukrainian literary critic of his time, Serhii (Serhy) Yefremov—faced a show trial and were sentenced to terms in labour camps. Arrests, followed by imprisonment, exile, or execution, decimated the ranks of intellectuals, writers, and artists some, like Khvylovy, committed suicide in protest. In all, some four-fifths of the Ukrainian cultural elite was repressed or perished in the course of the 1930s. By late 1933 Ukrainization had come to a halt, and a policy of Russification commenced.

The CP(B)U itself emerged from the Stalinist upheavals greatly altered in composition and character. Kaganovich returned in 1928 to Moscow his place as party chief was taken by Stanislav Kosior, who was joined in 1933 by Pavel Postyshev as second secretary, who was sent from Moscow with a large contingent of Russian cadres. A series of purges from 1929 to 1934 largely eliminated from the party the generation of revolutionaries, supporters of Ukrainization, and those who questioned the excesses of collectivization. Mykola Skrypnyk, the most prominent Ukrainian Old Bolshevik, committed suicide in 1933. Though party ranks and leadership positions were now filled by Stalin loyalists, a new wave of purges during 1936–38 halved the CP(B)U’s membership, while 99 of 102 members of the party’s Central Committee were shot. Postyshev and Kosior were removed from their party posts and subsequently executed. In 1938 Nikita Khrushchev arrived from Moscow with a large number of Russian communists to take over the leadership of the CP(B)U. Finally, on the eve of World War II, both the terror and the turmoil in the party began to subside. (See also purge trials.)

In Ukraine, Holodomor's Terrors Remain Fresh In The Minds Of Survivors

KYIV, DNIPROPETROVSK, Ukraine -- Sitting up straight in a freshly pressed white shirt, Pavlo Rozhko beams with delight as he sings a Ukrainian folk song to the accompaniment of a traditional stringed instrument known as a bandura.

Rozhko, who at 91 still participates in a choir, says he has loved singing ever since his childhood on a bustling family farm in the village of Piski in southeastern Ukraine.

"My father and mother were cheerful people," he says. "They were sewing, spinning. We had our own sheep and lambs. We kept the lambs inside the house. There were a lot of us. We were dancing, singing, shouting. Nobody yelled at us about anything. Everyone was growing up healthy and happy, until the collectivization."

Rozhko was 11 when a massive famine hit Soviet Ukraine, as Josef Stalin pushed forward with radical agricultural reforms that stripped millions of peasant families of their land and crops.

By the time the 1932-33 famine ended, at least 3 million and as many as 10 million Ukrainians and Cossacks had died, and the Soviet Union's most fertile land had been overtaken by massive, Kremlin-run collective farms.

The Holodomor, as the famine is now known, was never officially acknowledged by Soviet authorities, who said crop failure was to blame for any random accounts of starvation.

But as Ukraine has been preparing to mark the 80th anniversary of the Holodomor on November 23, the few remaining survivors remember the famine as deliberate, sweeping, and filled with terror.

Food Left To Rot

Maria Simak grew up in Spaske, a prosperous Cossack farming village where nearly all the villagers owned land and a team of horses. But in 1932, Soviet officials entered the town, seizing livestock, vegetables, and grains that they went on to sell for profit abroad, or left to rot in silos.

Simak credits her mother, a talented dressmaker, with keeping her and her brother alive by taking in orders from the local Communist Party elite. But even so, the family was forced to scavenge for edible plants in order to keep from starving.

"I know that we would eat weeds and crushed straw," she says. "We would boil it and our mother would form them into patties that we called 'matorzhenyki.' There was no flour. We dried herbs and plants and pounded them in a mortar, and then Mama would make these matorzhenyki."

People foraged in creek beds for mussels, boiled bark stripped from trees, and hunted snakes and ground squirrels. Mykola Mykolaenko, a 93-year-old Dnipropetrovsk poet and playwright who has written extensively about the Holodomor, said he would furtively collect discarded fish heads from a cafeteria for factory managers and smuggle them home to his mother to boil into a weak soup.

Such nighttime outings terrified his mother as rumors of cannibalism spread. Mykolaenko, who grew up in the village of Maryanivka, never saw actual evidence of people killing each other for food. But his mother warned him of the danger every time he went out, and he said paranoia in the starving village was rampant.

"It began even before 1933," he said. "One day, someone would go to a neighbor to ask for salt. and the next day they'd already be saying that someone in that family ate somebody else, that they killed a younger child in order to feed the older ones."

Help Rebuffed

Official accounts of the famine were banned from the local media. But unofficially the news traveled quickly to fellow Ukrainians further west, in what was then Poland.

Maria Vivcharyk, who was 8 years old at the start of the famine, grew up in Kryvenke, a village on the west bank of the Zbruch River which then divided Ukraine between the Polish-controlled west and the Soviet east.

Vivcharyk, who now lives in Smila, a town in central Ukraine, says her family helped rescue starving people who crossed the Zbruch to flee the Soviet side at the height of the famine. Many people drowned, too weak to fight the river's strong undercurrents. But those who survived would receive dry clothes and food from Vivcharyk and her grandmother.

The villagers also gathered food to send back to Ukrainians still suffering back east. But Vivcharyk says they were rebuffed.

"Some people gave one kilogram, some people gave two," she says. "Some donated wheat, others corn or rye, depending on what people had the most of. We gathered all this to send to the 'big' [Soviet] Ukraine. But the Bolsheviks would refuse to take it, they would say: 'We have no famine at all.' Can you imagine? How we cried."

Holocaust and Genocide Studies

"In the case of the Holodomor, this was the first genocide that was methodically planned out and perpetrated by depriving the very people who were producers of food of their nourishment (for survival). What is especially horrific is that the withholding of food was used as a weapon of genocide and that it was done in a region of the world known as the ‘breadbasket of Europe’.” – Prof. Andrea Graziosi, University of Naples.

An Introduction

In 1932 and 1933, millions of Ukrainians were killed in the Holodomor, a man-made famine engineered by the Soviet government of Joseph Stalin. The primary victims of the Holodomor (literally "death inflicted by starvation") were rural farmers and villagers, who made up roughly 80 percent of Ukraine's population in the 1930s. While it is impossible to determine the precise number of victims of the Ukrainian genocide, most estimates by scholars range from roughly 3.5 million to 7 million (with some estimates going higher). The most detailed demographic studies estimate the death toll at 3.9 million. Historians agree that, as with other genocides, the precise number will never be known.

Through a study of the Holodomor (which has been referred to as the Great Famine), students can come to understand that the Holodomor is an example of how prejudice and a desire to dominate and control a particular ethnic group can lead to the misuse of power, mass oppression, and genocide.

Ukraine Before the Holodomor

Beginning in the 18th century, Ukrainian territories were divided between the Austrian and Russian Empires. In the aftermath of World War I and the overthrow of the Russian monarchy in February 1917, Ukraine set up a provisional government, declaring itself the independent Ukrainian People's Republic in January 1918. The Ukrainian People's Republic fought the Bolshevik Red Army for three years (1918-1921) but lost its fight for independence.

The bulk of Ukrainian territory was forcibly incorporated into the Soviet Union, or USSR (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics), and by 1922 Ukraine became the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic (UkrSSR). Then the USSR sanctioned the requisition of all surplus agricultural products from the rural population, resulting in economic collapse.

Discontent among the farmers forced Lenin to halt the requisitions and bring in the New Economic Policy (NEP) in March of 1921. The NEP was intended to provide greater economic freedom and permit private enterprise, mainly for independent farms and small businesses. Beginning in 1923, the Soviet authorities also pursued a policy of indigenization, which in the Ukrainian SSR took the form of Ukrainization, a policy of national and cultural liberalization that promoted Ukrainian language use in education, mass media, and government. The goal for the introduction of both NEP and Ukrainization was to increase support for the Soviet regime in Ukraine. Video: Timothy Snyder: Ukrainian History as World History: 1917-2017

Causes of the Holodomor

By the end of the 1920s, Soviet leader Joseph Stalin consolidated his control over the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. Feeling threatened by Ukraine's strengthening cultural autonomy, Stalin took measures to destroy the Ukrainian peasantry and the Ukrainian intellectual and cultural elites to prevent them from seeking independence for Ukraine.

To prevent "Ukrainian national counterrevolution," Stalin initiated mass-scale political repressions through widespread intimidation, arrests, and imprisonment. Thousands of Ukrainian intellectuals, church leaders, and Ukrainian Communist Party functionaries who had supported pro-Ukrainian policies were executed by the Soviet regime.

At the same time, Stalin decreed the First Five Year Plan, which included the collectivization of agriculture, effectively ending the NEP. Collectivization gave the Soviet state direct control over Ukraine's rich agricultural resources and allowed the state to control the supply of grain for export. Grain exports would be used to fund the USSR's transformation into an industrial power.

The majority of rural Ukrainians, who were independent small-scale or subsistence farmers, resisted collectivization. They were forced to surrender their land, livestock and farming tools, and work on government collective farms (kolhosps) as laborers. Historians have recorded about 4,000 local rebellions against collectivization, taxation, terror, and violence by Soviet authorities in the early 1930s. The Soviet secret police (GPU) and the Red Army ruthlessly suppressed these protests. Tens of thousands of farmers were arrested for participating in anti-Soviet activities, shot, or deported to labor camps.

The wealthy and successful farmers who opposed collectivization were labeled "kulaks" by Soviet propaganda ("kulak" literally means "a fist"). They were declared enemies of the state, to be eliminated as a class. The elimination of the so-called "kulaks" was an integral part of collectivization. It served three purposes: as a warning to those who opposed collectivization, as a means to transfer confiscated land to the collective farms, and as a means to eliminate village leadership. Thus, the secret police and the militia brutally stripped "kulaks" not only of their lands but also their homes and personal belongings, systematically deporting them to the far regions of the USSR or executing them.

These mass repressions, along with manipulation of state-controlled grain purchases and collectivization through the destruction of Ukrainian rural community life, set the stage for the total terror – a terror by hunger, the Holodomor.

The Holodomor

Ukraine, with its history of resistance to the Soviet rule, was a threat to the Soviet regime. Fearing that opposition to his policies in Ukraine could intensify and possibly lead to Ukraine's secession from the Soviet Union, Stalin set unrealistically high grain procurement quotas. Those quotas were accompanied by other Draconian measures intended to wipe out a significant part of the Ukrainian nation.

In August of 1932, the decree of "Five Stalks of Grain," stated that anyone, even a child, caught taking any produce from a collective field, could be shot or imprisoned for stealing "socialist property." At the beginning of 1933, about 54,645 people were tried and sentenced of those, 2,000 were executed.

As famine escalated, growing numbers of farmers left their villages in search of food outside of Ukraine. Directives sent by Stalin and Molotov (Stalin's closest collaborator) in January of 1933 prevented them from leaving, effectively sealing the borders of Ukraine.

To further ensure that Ukrainian farmers did not leave their villages to seek food in the cities, the Soviet government started a system of internal passports, which were denied to farmers so they could not travel or obtain a train ticket without official permission. These same restrictions applied to the Kuban region of Russia, which borders Ukraine, and in which Ukrainians made up the largest portion of the Kuban population - 67 percent.

At the time of the Holodomor, over one-third of the villages in Ukraine were put on "blacklists" for failing to meet grain quotas. Blacklisted villages were encircled by troops and residents were blockaded from leaving or receiving any supplies it was essentially a collective death sentence.

To ensure these new laws were strictly enforced, groups of "activists" organized by the Communist Party were dispatched to the countryside. As described by historian Clarence Manning:

"The work of these special 'commissions' and 'brigades' was marked by the utmost severity. They entered the villages and made the most thorough searches of the houses and barns of every peasant. They dug up the earth and broke into the walls of buildings and stoves in which the peasants tried to hide their last handfuls of food."

To escape death by starvation, people in the villages ate anything that was edible: grass, acorns, even cats and dogs. Contemporary Soviet police archives contain descriptions of the immense suffering and despair of Ukrainian farmers, including instances of lawlessness, theft, lynching, and even cannibalism.

This Famine, the Holodomor, resulted in widespread deaths and mass graves dug across the countryside. The official registers did not give a full accounting of what was happening across Ukraine - deaths often remained unregistered, cause of death was missing - to conceal the true situation.

At the height of the Holodomor in June of 1933, Ukrainians were dying at a rate of 28,000 people per day. Around 3.9 million Ukrainians died during the Holodomor of 1932-33 (as established in a 2015 study by a team of demographers from the Ukrainian Institute of Demographic and Social Studies, and the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill).

While Ukrainians were dying, the Soviet state extracted 4.27 million tons of grain from Ukraine in 1932, enough to feed at least 12 million people for an entire year. Soviet records show that in January of 1933, there were enough grain reserves in the USSR to feed well over 10 million people. The government could have organized famine relief and could have accepted help from outside of the USSR. Moscow rejected foreign aid and denounced those who offered it, instead exporting Ukraine's grain and other foodstuffs abroad for cash.

Most historians, who have studied this period in Ukrainian history, have concluded that the Famine was deliberate and linked to a broader Soviet policy to subjugate the Ukrainian people. With the fall of the Soviet Union and the opening of Soviet government archives (including archives of the security services), researchers have been able to demonstrate that Soviet authorities undertook measures specifically in Ukraine with the knowledge that the result would be the deaths of millions of Ukrainians by starvation.

"The Terror-Famine of 1932-33 was a dual-purpose by-product of collectivization, designed to suppress Ukrainian nationalism and the most important concentration of prosperous peasants at one throw." –Norman Davies, Europe, A History.

The Holodomor as Genocide

Raphael Lemkin (1900-1959), an expert in international criminal law (with a particular interest in the prevention of mass human extermination), who coined and promoted the term "genocide," identified the Holodomor as "the classic example of Soviet genocide."

Lemkin's ideas on genocide served as the basis of the United Nations Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Genocide in 1948. The Convention defines genocide as acts "having intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group, as such."

In a speech given in 1953, as well as in articles written in the 1950s, Lemkin applied the term genocide to the Holodomor and the attempt to destroy the Ukrainian nation.

Lemkin identified four integral components in the genocidal process in Ukraine:

  • The decimation of the Ukrainian national elites (political and cultural leaders),
  • The destruction of the Ukrainian Autocephalous (independent) Orthodox Church (its clergy and hierarchy),
  • The starvation of the Ukrainian farming population (the Holodomor), and
  • Its replacement with non-Ukrainians from the RSFSR and elsewhere.

Leading historians and other scholars, such as James Mace, Robert Conquest, Timothy Snyder, Norman Naimark, Anne Applebaum, who have devoted significant time to studying the Holodomor and have published extensively on the subject have all concluded that it was genocide.

"Is the Ukrainian Holodomor genocide? Yes, in my view, it is. It meets the criteria of the law of genocide of 1948, the Convention – it meets the ideas that Raphael Lemkin laid down." –Timothy Snyder (Richard C. Levin Professor of History at Yale University and a Permanent Fellow at the Institute for Human Sciences in Vienna), 15th Annual Arsham and Charlotte Ohanessian Lecture and Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies Symposium.

Holodomor Denial

At the time of the Holodomor, the Soviet government and the Communist Party denied that a famine was taking place and refused any outside relief efforts. A succession of Soviet governments maintained formal denial that the Holodomor had occurred. In Ukraine, it was impossible to speak publicly, discuss openly, or teach about the Holodomor until the late 1980s. Information about the Famine was only available in the West, mostly from eyewitness testimonies of refugees who had survived the event and escaped from the Soviet Union after World War II.

Even today, authorities of the Russian Federation admit that there were famines in the 1930s in the USSR, but refuse to acknowledge the deliberate nature of the Famine in 1932–1933 in Ukraine.

In addition to Soviet denial at the time of the Holodomor, foreign journalists stationed in the USSR largely ignored it, while most governments, whose countries were going through the Great Depression, knew about it but did nothing. Journalist Walter Duranty of The New York Times, who was awarded a Pulitzer Prize for his articles about the USSR, wrote: "There is no actual starvation or deaths from starvation, but there is widespread mortality from disease due to malnutrition… conditions are bad. But there is no famine." Recently, Duranty was discredited for his cover-up of the Famine in Ukraine.

There were a few journalists who wrote about starvation in Ukraine, such as Gareth Jones, who wrote for the New York American and Los Angeles Examiner, and Malcolm Muggeridge, a British foreign correspondent. More on Holodomor Denial.

Legacy and Aftermath

The Holodomor ended in 1933. Collectivization was complete with all farmland becoming a socialist property and all farmers working for the state. According to recent demographic studies, 13.3 percent of Ukraine's population died at the time of the Holodomor. In some regions of Ukraine, the percentage of deaths due to the Famine were higher for example, the rate was 19 percent in Kyiv and 29 percent in Kharkiv oblasts. The Holodomor wiped out millions of Ukrainians. Promotion of a 'new Soviet identity' and official pressure on Ukrainians to use the Russian language intensified. Even when the Holodomor ended, Ukrainians didn't really stop suffering. The families of Holodomor victims feared hunger and further repressions for the rest of their lives, and this fear was passed onto future generations. They were soon to experience new traumas: Stalin's purges of 1937-38, World War II, Nazi occupation and the Holocaust, and the 1946-47 famine.

Another consequence of the Holodomor in Ukraine was a loss of collective memory. In Soviet Ukraine, the Holodomor was kept out of official public discourse until shortly before Ukraine won its independence in 1991. We now know that explicit instructions were issued throughout the Soviet Union banning the use of the word famine, not only in party and military documents but also in medical records and statistical accounts. Irena Chalupa, the director of RFE/RL's Ukrainian Service, stated:

"The creative engine of a people was destroyed, slowing down and distorting nation-building for decades. The Soviet regime prevented families and individuals from processing both personal and national grief. For more than 50 years, Ukraine could not address this trauma openly."

In the 1980s, with the publication of the report of the US Commission on the Ukraine Famine and the findings of the International Commission of Inquiry into the 1932–33 Famine in Ukraine, as well as the release of an eye-opening documentary "Harvest of Despair," greater world attention finally came to bear on the Holodomor.

On November 28, 2006, the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament of Ukraine) passed a decree defining the Holodomor as a deliberate act of genocide. The Holodomor has been recognized as genocide by 16 nations and 22 US states, including Minnesota.

Suggestion for Educators

It is important that all students know about and understand some of the more important aspects of the Holodomor, the Ukrainian genocide. The Holodomor and other examples of genocide are of enduring significance to Americans and the world as a whole, because there are important lessons to be learned about human rights and responsibilities, oppression, and the challenge of democracy in multi-ethnic and multicultural societies.

Holodomor - History - Death Toll

By the end of 1933, millions of people had starved to death or had otherwise died unnaturally in Ukraine and the other Soviet republics. The total number of population losses (famine death and birth deficit) across the entire Soviet Union is estimated as 6–7 million. The Soviet Union long denied that the famine had taken place. The NKVD (and later KGB) archives on the Holodomor period made records available very slowly. The exact number of the victims remains unknown and is probably impossible to estimate, even within a margin of error of a hundred thousand. The media has reported estimates by historians of fatalities as high as seven to ten million. Former Ukranian president Yuschenko stated in a speech to the United States Congress that the Holodomor "took away 20 million lives of Ukrainians", while Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper issued a public statement giving the death toll at about 10 million. The use of this figure has been criticized by historians Timothy Snyder and Stephen G. Wheatcroft. Snyder wrote: "President Viktor Yushchenko does his country a grave disservice by claiming ten million deaths, thus exaggerating the number of Ukrainians killed by a factor of three but it is true that the famine in Ukraine of 1932–1933 was a result of purposeful political decisions, and killed about three million people." In an email to Postmedia News, Wheatcroft wrote: "I find it regrettable that Stephen Harper and other leading Western politicians are continuing to use such exaggerated figures for Ukrainian famine mortality" and "There is absolutely no basis for accepting a figure of 10 million Ukrainians dying as a result of the famine of 1932–33."

Estimates vary in their coverage, with some using the 1933 Ukraine borders, some the current borders, and some counting ethnic Ukrainians. Some extrapolate on the basis of deaths in a given area, while others use archival data. Some historians question the accuracy of Soviet censuses, as they may reflect Soviet propaganda. Other estimates come from recorded discussions between world leaders like Churchill and Stalin. In an August 1942 conversation, Stalin gave Churchill his estimates of the number of "kulaks" who were repressed for resisting collectivization as 10 million, in all of the Soviet Union, rather than only in Ukraine. When using this number, Stalin implied that it included not only those who lost their lives, but also forcibly deported.

Additionally there are variances as to whether deaths in Gulag labor camps should be counted, or only those who starved to death.

The estimate prior to the opening of former Soviet archives varied widely but the range was narrower: for example, 2.5 million (Volodymyr Kubiyovych), 4.8 million (Vasyl Hryshko) and 5 million (Robert Conquest).

One modern calculation that uses demographic data, including that recently available from Soviet archives, narrows the losses to about 3.2 million or, allowing for the lack of precise data, 3 million to 3.5 million.

The Soviet archives show that excess deaths in Ukraine in 1932–1933 numbered a minimum of 1.8 million (2.7 including birth losses). This source further states "Depending upon the estimations made concerning unregistered mortality and natality, these figures could be increased to a level of 2.8 million to a maximum of 4.8 million excess deaths and to 3.7 million to a maximum of 6.7 million population losses (including birth losses)". In 1932–1933, there were 1.2 million cases of typhus and 500,000 cases of typhoid fever. Malnourishment increases fatality rates from many diseases, and are not counted by some historians From 1932–34, the largest rate of increase was recorded for typhus, commonly spread by lice. In conditions of harvest failure and increased poverty, lice are likely to increase. Gathering numerous refugees at railway stations, on trains and elsewhere facilitates the spread. In 1933, the number of recorded cases was 20 times the 1929 level. The number of cases per head of population recorded in Ukraine in 1933 was already considerably higher than in the USSR as a whole. By June 1933, incidence in Ukraine had increased to nearly 10 times the January level, and it was much higher than in the rest of the USSR.

The number of the recorded excess deaths extracted from the birth/death statistics from the Soviet archives is contradictory. The data fails to add up to the differences between the results of the 1927 Census and the 1937 Census.

Kulchytsky summarized the natural population change. The declassified Soviet statistics show a decrease of 538,000 people in the population of Soviet Ukraine between 1926 census (28,925,976) and 1937 census (28,388,000). The number of births and deaths (in thousands) according to the declassified records are given in the table (right).

According to the correction for officially non-accounted child mortality in 1933 by 150,000 calculated by Sergei Maksudov, the number of births for 1933 should be increased from 471,000 to 621,000. Assuming the natural mortality rates in 1933 to be equal to the average annual mortality rate in 1927–1930 (524,000 per year), a natural population growth for 1933 would have been 97,000. This was five times less than the growth in the previous three years (1927–1930). The natural population growth from 1927 to 1936 should have been 4.043 million, while the census data showed a decrease of 538,000. The sum of the two numbers gives an estimated total demographic loss of 4.581 million people.

Estimates of the human losses due to famine must account for the numbers involved in migration (including forced resettlement). According to Soviet statistics, the migration balance for the population in Ukraine for 1927–1936 period was a loss of 1.343 million people. Even when the data was collected, the Soviet statistical institutions acknowledged that the precision was less than for the data of the natural population change. The total number of death in Ukraine due to unnatural causes for the given ten years was 3.238 million accounting for the lack of precision, estimates of the human toll range from 2.2 million to 3.5 million deaths.

1928 1139 496 643
1929 1081 539 542

1934 571 483 88

1936 895 361 534

In addition to the direct losses from unnatural deaths, the indirect losses due to the decrease of the birth rate should be taken into account in consideration in estimating of the demographic consequences of the Famine for Ukraine. For instance, the natural population growth in 1927 was 662,000, while in 1933 it was 97,000, in 1934 it was 88,000. The combination of direct and indirect losses from Holodomor gives 4.469 million, of which 3.238 million (or more realistically 3 to 3.5 million) is the number of the direct deaths according to this estimate.

With the latter assumed to be negligible this estimate gives the number of deaths as the result of the 1933 famine about 2.2 million. According to this study the life expectancy for those born in 1933 sharply fell to 10.8 years for females and to 7.3 years for males and remained abnormally low for 1934 but, as commonly expected for the post-crisis peaked in 1935–36.

According to historian Timothy Snyder, the recorded figure of excess deaths was 2.4 million. However, Snyder claims that this figure is "substantially low" due to many deaths going unrecorded. Snyder states that demographic calculations carried out by the Ukrainian government provide a figure of 3.89 million dead, and opined that the actual figure is likely between these two figures, approximately 3.3 million deaths to starvation and disease related to the starvation in Ukraine from 1932–1933. Snyder also estimates that of the million people who died in Soviet Russia from famine at the same time, approximately 200,000 were ethnic Ukrainians due to Ukrainian-inhabited regions being particularly hard hit in Russia.

According to estimates about 81.3% of the famine victims in Ukrainian SRR were ethnic Ukrainians, 4.5% Russians, 1.4% Jews and 1.1% were Poles. Many Belarusians, Hungarians, Volga Germans and other nationalities became victims as well. The Ukrainian rural population was the hardest hit by the Holodomor. Since the peasantry constituted a demographic backbone of the Ukrainian nation, the tragedy deeply affected the Ukrainians for many years.

JEWS WANT THE WORLD to believe that they have a monopoly on “Holocaust Remembrances.” But Ukraine’s President Viktor Yushchenko has thrown the Jews a curve by dedicating 2008 as “Ukrainian Holocaust Remembrance Year” Here.

This “holocaust remembrance” recalls the murder by forced starvation of *6 million* Ukrainian Christians by the Jewish Bolsheviks. The Ukrainians call this holocaust “Holodomor” which means “Famine-Genocide.” Of course the Zionist Jews deny it. Just like they deny all of their numerous crimes against humanity.

Historian Valentyn Moroz of the Institute for Historical Review wrote:

— “The Ukrainian village had long been recognized as the bastion of national traditions. The Bolsheviks sought to strike a fatal blow at the village structure because it was the lifespring of the vital national spirit.” — Here.

Indeed, Bolshevik Jews were the chief architects of the Ukrainian forced-famine which eliminated Ukrainian clergy and 6 million Ukrainian Orthodox Christians!

THE BOLSHEVIK JEWS WHO PLOTTED THE UKRAINIAN HOLOCAUST

1) Lazar Kaganovich: Stalin’s political figurehead of the Central Committee. In 1928, Kaganovich led the implementation in the Ukraine of Stalin’s first Five-Year Plan.

The aim of Stalin’s first Five-Year Plan in the Ukraine was to destroy family farms through starvation making the peasants “landless” and thereby introducing “collectivization” by which the Ukrainian peasants were forced to become employees of the state. This forced-famine reached its crises point in 1932.

2) Genrikh Yagoda: Founder of the NKVD (Soviet Secret Police). Assisted in the first Five-Year Plan of starving Ukrainian peasants.

3) Nikolai Yezhov: Appointed by Yagoda as Head of the NKVD. Assisted in the first Five-Year Plan of starving Ukrainian peasants. (Yezhov took on a “Russian” name like most Bolshevik Jews. His wife was an active Jew).

These Bolshevik Jews seized livestock, crops, grain, and farm implements from the Ukrainian peasants. Any Ukrainian citizen who resisted them was shot. Desperate Ukrainian clergy and peasants ate anything to survive: bugs, grass, and leather shoes.

PRESIDENT YUSHCHENKO PRESSURES JEWS
TO RECOGNIZE
THE UKRAINIAN HOLOCAUST!

“Fresh from the controversy over shifting positions on the Armenian genocide, the Jews could be caught up in another controversy over Ukrainian-genocide recognition,” reports the Baltimore Times Here.

Yushchenko has pressed the genocide issue since taking office in 2005. In 2007 more than two dozen countries recognized the Holodomor as genocide. Yet the Jews of the Ukraine and around the world refuse to recognize it!

Ukraine’s chief Rabbi Yakov Dov Bleich said:

— “We can’t equate the Holocaust of the Jews in Germany with the Holodomor in Ukraine. Ukrainian Jewish leaders do not support recognizing the Holodomor as genocide.” — Baltimore Jewish Times, Nov 14 2007.

WE MUST PUT THE ZIONIST JEWS IN THEIR PLACE!

I GREW UP AS A JEW . Jews want a monopoly on the world’s “sympathy.” But the Jews do not deserve the world’s sympathy as the Ukrainian Christian clergy and peasants deserve it. For they were *innocent victims* of the forced famine.

JEWS HAVE *NEVER* been the innocent victims of any “holocaust.” I have proved this by my many articles such as HERE backed up with historical facts!

Excellent site Brother Kapner, you have Chutzpa!

In fact I’m afraid that your site is so thorough and compelling that it will be one of the first to be unplugged by the very group that is chomping at the bit to enact “hate speech” codes to be applicable to the net.

It’s inevitable, it will happen within a few years as most of us Goy are ignorant sheep.

I think that many Goyim are are more aware than we realise but unable to do much of anything with the Jewish clampdown in America.

The same thing happened in the Ukraine when the commies came for the grain—what could they do? Only hide it, but that was not so effective.

Looking back, and if they were still alive today I am sure they would pulled out gun and put a slug through the first Jewish commie to come to his front door if somebody had shown him a picture of him and the wife chowing down on broasted baby.

NOBODY wants to be a cannibal and that is what is coming to America. At least we got a few more guns for the sheeple to use if they can.

PS/ A great movie to which mirrors this subject is “High Plains Drifter” with Clint Eastwood. A must see if you feel like wanting to protect your family.

What the Zionist Jews did to the Ukrainian Christians is what they are planning to do to the American Christians - and it’s all in play right before our eyes!

Animal ID is not just for identifying and caring for diseased and dying animals in our food chain, but to know exactly where the food chain is, so that it can be deliberately and without prejudice slaughtered in the implementation of forced starvation upon the American population at large - just as was done in the Ukraine.

For those Christians who blindly embrace Zionist Jews and Zionist Israel as “God’s chosen people” who can do no wrong and never be held accountable, the Zionists have in store a special reward for such expressed loyalty - the ultimate in betrayal of your trust and faith, as they have no qualms in eliminating anyone not of their “own kind”.

Human sacrifice is always on the front burner of the Zionist Jews’ agendas, even as they had no reservations in sacrificing their “own kind” via Nazi Germany (as well as Russia, Ukraine, Poland, etc) in leading up to, and during, the European Holocaust of World War II.

Satan rewards his “chosen people” very well indeed …

All of the above gets secular “Jews” very uncomfortable in America as their guilt over living in safety as religious Jews died in mass so this group of elitist Jews which many of were communist and tied to finance could turn the holocaust into a Jewish state and a holocaust industry.

One can strongly disagree with the blanket term of “zionist” as God is thee Zionist who desired the 13 tribes have Israel have that promised land so named. One can also note that the Philistine people of Gaza are noted as sisters to Judah and Israel after Christ’s return.

The correct term is “converts” as the people behind this are not Judean, but of that Khazar Ashkenazi line out of Asia.

There is nothing wrong with believing in God’s plan of a homeland for all 13 Israelite tribes which is our Zion, but the converts have bastardized this to exclude God, His Way, His plan and His Son. The converts practice a web of religion in false messiah, mysticism, mammon and a few other initiations of the sacred geometry.

These converts have slaughtered Jews in Europe and Asia. Perhaps like Islam if the Muslims could understand that Islamocommunists are slaughtering them in Iraq and Afghanistan that these converts hiding under Judaism as Jews are the ones butchering the Jews in the Israeli state and making them look horrid at times to the world, then Judeans would understand that they have a problem in a cancer in their body manipulating their thoughts, herding them and murdering them behind a new Warsaw wall on the east bank.

So that, respectfully Brother Nathanael, would be a wonderful real term one could home Mr. Rense and yourself would consider using in “converts” as Zion is older than the cartel which hijacked it for their own state to them and not a state to God.

Thank you for your time and God bless.

Cliff above correctly notes that many Americans are aware of the “Jewish clampdown” in America, but feel unable to do anything about it.

Of course, organized Jewry will try to destroy your livelihood if come out against them publicly. So, fight like they do - under the table - with money.

There isn’t an American within the sound of my voice that isn’t sending several hundred dollars per month to Jewish cartels for various entertainments. Turn it off.

If a cartel has been exposed as coming to kill you, your family and your country - then why are you sending them the resources to do it? It sounds unbelievable, but it IS possible to live without TV and sports entertainment, etc.

With the money you don’t send to the nationkilling Jews, you can help those around you who deserve help - including and especially young people who are utterly unprepared for this assault against our civilization.

It’s so simple: Just turn off the money!

Brother Nathanael’s site is powered by Jesus Christ Almighty, and he’s not going anywhere.

I’ve always had a little problem with that six million Jews died in the holocaust, however I guess that’s a good figure to keep up. They’ve been sucking it dry for over sixty years, and of course their pain is much more painful then a simple Goy’s.

Here are some good articles if anyone would care to read them.

Ilya Grigoryevich Ehrenburg The man who invented the six million: http://www.rense.com/general75/ehr.htm

The crowning achievement of Ehrenburg’s career came on December 22, 1944, when this hate-crazed fiend became the first person to mention the kabbalistic figure of Six Million alleged Jewish victims of National Socialism, and then proceeded to introduce that figure into Soviet propaganda.

Israel is Great Britian, America, France Scandanavia, Scotland, Ireland,Wales, Canada, New Zealand, Australia & White South Africa, Judah is Germany.

Edom is in modern Jewry. Most so-called “Jews” are converts to Talmudic Judaism and are in fact like Christian Zionsits: two-fold the children of hell, and truly deceived by lies, bad faith and lying murdering acts to prove it.

Read Obadiah and Matthew 13. The King is coming. Bind the tares.

Stalin needed weapons to conquer Europe and spread the socialist murder of the NWO.

He had nothing but grain to pay for it, so the stuff had to be exported, and mainly to the States. To his superiors in N.Y., in fact, who demanded payments as this they understand best.

Unfortunately few million Ukrainians died in the process, just as million humans die in Iraq. We watched the murder then, as we watch it now.

Today they invented the term collateral damage. What did they call it then?

WAS NOT THE KOLHOZ CONFORMED TO THE KIBBUTZ?!

THE FIRST KIBBUTZ WAS FORMED IN 1909, NOT–AS SOME “ERRONEOUS” ASSERTIONS AVER–LATER THAN STALIN’S FORCED COLLECTIVIZATION IN THE 1930s?

Why did Elie Wiesel leave Auschwitz with the Germans instead of being liberated by the advancing Soviet Army?

I don’t like AIPAC’s influence or - Zionists, but I never see practical steps describing how can we reduce or remove their influence from our country.

So we stop sending them billions every year, and so we stop fighting their wars.

Was Stalin an antisemite or was he just using the Jews ?

An interesting question which had caused me some confusion.

The Zionists would have us believe he was always an antisemite, some would say he was always working for the Jews, some that he was just using them and later purged all the Jews from the Communist Party.

The answer to this question sheds some light on the situation:

Who was the first world leader to officially recognise the State of Israel ?

You can verify this for yourself from mainstream sources.

If the German’s just wanted to “kill the Jews”, why would they bother shaving the prisoners’ heads?

Why bother tattooing them?

The answer is that their heads were shaved and treated with zyklonB (an insecticide) in order to treat them for lice!

Typhus is transmitted by lice. I too had my head shaved in Paris Island 25 years ago where they also sprayed a similar compound on my head afterwards for lice control.

Iv’e been to Germany 5 times, they are a very efficient bunch of people. If they actually wanted to kill these Jews there wouldn’t be one left standing with their tattoos on their arms in this country!

It was a brutal eviction (the latest of approximately 60 over the last 1700 years), but not an attempt at killing.

Once upon a time, when I was rather naive politically, I wrote to several Ukrainian Jewish organisations asking how the famine affected the Jews of the Ukraine.

Now I know why I never heard back from a single one of them.

And there is, in fact, no evidence that the famine had any effect on Ukrainian Jews whatsoever. How could that happen?

Pore Russians and Ukraines

Hey, my Dads side of the family is Ukrainian.

I am sure some of my relations must of been killed by these Jewish Bolsheviks.

I wonder if I can sue the state of Israel for reparations like every generation sues Germany?

Well, first of all I think that this article has a vary general understanding of the situation in Soviet Ukraine.

First of all the death toll of Ukrainians from the 32-33 “Holodomor” was around 7-10 million.

This article also puts the whole fault of the genocide on Jews.

I dont agree with this completely ( and I don’t hate people only by their race), but the fact is that the congress that organized “Holodomor” was 69 percent Jewish, other members were mostly Russians, but there were also Poles, Germans, Tatars and other nationalities from the Soviet Union, even a small number of Ukrainian traitors were involved in this horrific project.

Anyways fact is fact but this article is more of a generalization.

And who do you think is involved with the mass illnesses these last 3 months of 2009 in the Ukraine?

They are up to their dirty genocidal deeds again. Gods Wrath will intercede onto these Bolsheviks sooner than you think.

I don’t believe in vague generalizations but, there’s no denying that Kaganovich and Yogoda are responsible for their aversion to the human race.

Likewise the media would rather focus on German crimes and remind us that the greatest generation won a forgotten war.

I’d like to see things from their point of view but I can’t seem to get my head twisted so far around.

Umm that’s really showing me the real face of the Zionists although I know it very well.

They always like to show themselves as sheeps while they are the wolves.

But you know they have the power in America and Europe.

The other genocide that has been suppressed since World War 2 is the genocide of the Serbs in the independent state of Croatia at that time.

The official version is that the Croatian Catholic Clerical Fascist Ustasha party wanted to form a pure Catholic state.

They had a policy of converting one third of the Orthodox Serbian population to Roman Catholicism, (who were living in the former Military Frontier lands of the Austrian empire, who fled the Ottoman Turks and defended Europe against the Turks for the Habsburgs for centuries), deporting one third of the Serbs, and murdering one third of them.

The Croatian Ustasha campaign against the Serbs was more brutal than anything Hitler allegedly did to the Jews, in fact, reports say that Hitler was shocked at the bruatality of the Croats against the Serbs.

Jasenovac was the largest death camp in the Balkans. The Croats and their priests led the camps and murdered the Serbs by slashing their throats, either in the camps or in their homes, and forced their own family members to catch the blood.

Why has this been suppressed all this time? Hitler and the Vatican officially recognized Croatia as an independent state then. Obviously, the Catholic Ustasha were not following the gospel of Jesus Christ.

What gospel were they following? It seems to me they were following the Talmud. And if it’s true that Jews lead all movements, then it’s shocking to think that Jews were also Ustasha members.

The only person who has written about this is Barry Chamish. From him I learned that Ante Pavelic, the Croatian Catholic Ustasha leader, was married to a Viennese Jewess. The notorious Butcher of the Serbians in the Ustasha party was Slavko Kvaternik. Apparently, he was a Jew.

The Pope at that time received a gift from an Ustasha leader that bore many pounds of the eyes of Serbian children. What kind of Pope would accept something like that? A Christian Pope, or a Talmudic or a Satanic Pope?

One thing is clear to me that the Vatican, the Rothschilds, and the Talmud are all together.

The genocide of the Serbs has been hidden because the Talmudic controlled Popes want it that way, to keep up sympathy for the humane way that Hitler killed Jews, allegedly showers and gas chambers, compared to being bled to death like “untermenschen” subhuman cattle.

Adding more to the topic of suppressed genocides and holocausts, this really did happen, but it seems everyone, the White Nationalists, the Jewish and Catholic establishments continue to suppress this.

Sadly it was all repeated again in the 1990’s and continuing war against the Serbian people.

The Ukrainians got murdered by Jews. Russians and Germans fought each other. Polish and Germans fought each other. The Serbs have been murdered by Croats, Catholics, Jews, Zionists, Muslims, Albanians, Germans, and Americans.

It’s truly surprising that there are any Serbs alive in their country anymore.

And they have been poisoned with depleted uranium from the bombs that came not only from Madeleine Albright and the Jews who ordered the bombing, but from white, gentile, Americans of European descent.

These pilots who were happy to drop the bombs, and white European mercenaries who were happy to shoot at Serbian farmers living in the once Military Frontere, where Nikola Tesla himself was born.

I know, God loves us all. Life on earth is sacred. Sure. Life on earth is Hell. When innocent murder and genocide victims go to Heaven, does God ask them how it felt to be murdered? Maybe we’re part of sick mad scientist on the earth experiment.

I guess we all find out when we die. So we should just keep giving thanks to Almighty God for the miracle of living on earth so we can be murdered. Praise the Lord. Sure.

Here is the only information online about the Jewish Croatian Catholic Ustashi. It’s in line with Dr. Henry Makows’s claim that a cult of Sabbatean Frankist Jews control the world.

As a Jew and vehement anti-Zionist I express full sorrow for the Ukrainian people of which I myself am a Ukrainian.

Born in 1972 on Ukrainian soil in the town of L’viv. My parents and my grandparents were fighters against Nazism and ZIONISM.

When I see pictures of Ukrainian men, women, and children who perished at the evil hands of Bolsheviks claiming to have been Jewish, it makes me bloody sick. and I vomit each time I see zionists around here.

If I one day took over Israel and toppled Zionism and established a Socialist democratic form of Government where all Jews and Palestinians can live in peace, REST ASSURED that both HOLODOMOR and the HOLOCAUST would both equally be recognized as the most horrible forms of genocide committed in the 20th Century.

Ukrainian brothers and sisters, you have my word that one day Israel will repent and pay for its ignorance of Holodomor. I think in 20-30 years, Israel is going to be voted out of existance anyway since the Palestinian population is doubling at an alarming rate.

I may be Jewish, but I despise what my people did to humanity. Ukrainians are great people.

I prefer them over my own fellow Jews as I am to Israel - a STALIN to them, and a fighter for Democratic rights for all peoples in UKRAINE.

The murder of Serbs by the Catholic Ustashi at the shrine of Medjugorje

All those who participated with Ante Pavelic and the Ustashi during world war 2, who continued their legacy in the 1990s and today, and to those who suppressed this and continue to suppress this, whether Jew, Gentile, Aryan, Catholic, White, German, Anglo, Italian, Black, Muslim, Albanian, Freemason, Illuminati, Alien, Martian or whatever they think they are, may they burn in Hell for eternity and eat their own children alive.

Let’s not forget what the parasites did in the Danzig Corridor, Dresden, Berlin.

All because Hitler booted the Talmudic Jew Bankers out of his country.

Many don’t realize that they have been banished from HUNDREDS of nations for the same inherent evil and ruining nations. Unfortunately, the U.S. of Israel’s “leaders” could give a damn about their country and people.

Further, Putin apparently is following the same course. So be VERY objective when the Jew media begins telling you how “evil” Russia is. They have pulled the very same garbage on numerous nations who’s leaders have had the courage to say ENOUGH!

Which is something we won’t see here. Don’t for ONE moment think that “our boys” won’t fire on fellow citizens. They have and will again, with NO problem.

Ludow Co. “our boys” burned fellow citizens’ wives and children ALIVE for the marrano Rockefeller.

My suggestion is calling them by the acronym ‘TICK’s.
T for Talmud.
I C for International Crime
K for Kabal, Cabal, Kaballa

That says it all, most succinctly.

And the tick is a parasite that is harmful to its host.

The Jewish people are GOD’S chosen people, regardless what anybody thinks.

Zionists are very bad people. Zionists are not just Jews, it’s a political movement anybody of any race can be a Zionist. Rense always runs Jews down, like I said anybody can become a Zionist.

Alex Jones is a Zionist. He talks about the international Bankers and globalists destroying the world’s economy. He never talks about the corrupt Zionists, the Bronfman family who made their fortune during prohibition. Sam BRONFMAN, worked for Meyer Lansky — Murder Incorporated.

Jesus talked about the fake Zionist Jews in the Book of Revelation, chapter 2 verse 9. He said “There are those who call themselves Jews, but are not Jews. They [the Zionists] are actually of the synagogue of Satan”. Read Ezekiel chapters 38, 39, and 40, it talks about Russia and most but not all of the Arab countries marching toward Israel.

GOD, will let them go far south. When they get 55 miles north of Jerusalem they will be utterly destroyed, such devastation will take place that it will take 7 months to bury the dead. This is the first wave of the battle of Armageddon.

Then China, North Korea, the kings of the east will attempt to put an end to the Arab-Jew fighting but in the process kill one third of humanity. Nuclear exchange. That is the second wave of Armegeddon. Zechariah 14-2. Then every nation left will march against Israel, but that is when JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR RETURNS. Saves not only Israel but the entire world.

Just food for thought, Henry Ford wrote a book in 1920 called The International Jew. In it he stated there was a worldwide conspiracy by Jews to take over the world. Hitler read it and loved it. He later said it inspired Him to write ” Mien Kaupt.”

“The Jewish people are GOD’S chosen people.”

We are all God’s chosen people.

I’m not a religious person neither an atheist.

I don’t hate anybody, at the contrary, I’m a people lover. Why don’t we all start loving each other, and make this a better world to live in?

Let’s forgive one another. Let’s forget. Let’s live in peace. Let us turn weapons into plow shares. Let us produce food and feed the hungry.

Let us break the Cain/Abel cycle of death.

I am the child of Ukrainian immigrants who survived Holodomor.

Even in the US we were never encouraged to discuss the truth of what happened in Ukraine. US Government schools don’t teach this history in the hopes of eradicating it.

It is rare to find Americans even knowing about it.

Thank God for this website and others like it. The truth shall not die, even though the survivors, the true historians of that event, have all but passed away.

Armando, if only it could be.

I understand what you’re saying, but apparently there is an evil in this world that is just overpowering.

Some of my relatives were killed by communist Yugoslav Partisans in WW2, but it didn’t stop my grandmother from still speaking and reading her Croation prayer book.

She was an ethnic German and when Tito’s Partisans got through, she was minus a home, husband, or anything else. But I was always amazed at how she hated no one, her whole 81 years before she died.

I strongly recommend Juri Lina’s book, “Under the Sign of the Scorpion.”

It describes the horrors of Communism in excruciating detail, and minces no words about who was responsible.

The book won’t be found in ordinary book stores. Mail order instructions can be found at:

My great-grandfather on my mom’s side was betrayed by other Jewish merchants at the outbreak of WWI.

My father in the Third Army liberated three camps in WWII first in the gates as Forward Recon Combat Engineer Sargent.

His father served in the French volunteer ambulance corps or Foreign Service in WWI.

Back to mom’s side, my grandfather spent all of WWI in a political prisoner camp in southern France. He hit the U.S., converted to Christianity instantly after Ellis Island.

At a young age, he taught me the tricks. Their formulas have not changed, just the generations and the widening scope of influence duping U.S. moderates, their new electoral target.

Google the History of the Money changers, the Obama Deception, the Sealed Train, Hitler’s Banking Families, Defender Magazine Oct. 33, the USS Liberty, Israel the Other Side of Zionism, the Gaza Massacre, World Bank Sucks, WTO Sucks, the Mena Connection, the Men Who Shot JFK, Jews Against Zionism, Zionism, Monopoly Men, Bill Gwatney Murder, the Clinton Chronicles….

I was born during WWII in a labor camp in Hamburg, Germany.

My parents almost starved to death in 1932 and lost half of their families. I know these stores first hand. There was plenty of blood on everyone’s hands in those countries.

They had been fighting amoungst each other for centuries.

My parents didn’t teach me to be anti-Jews or anti-anyone. They taught me to judge individuals by their character.

There are lots of good people and there are people who are capable of cruelty. Hate causes all sorts of inhumanity to one another.

To blame Jews for all crimes in the world is morally indefensible.

My farther survived the Holodmor, then ww2 and the ignorance displayed by some for the diaspora-if that cant kill you(stalin and Hitler), then only god can?

Or israeli operatives working (moonlighting) for their policy of murder and tyranny on survivours of Ukrainian origin in the UK.

Fact Two Ukrainian men died in violent way. One found hanged and one hit on the back of the head in his own hallway.

Both cases closed-My Dad and uncle are these two men!

I am astounded at the history I was NOT taught in American schools…

I never remembered anything about millions of Russian Christians dying at the hands of the Jews….or the millions of Russians who died fighting the Germans in WW2!!

The way history was portrayed was that America swooped in and won the WW2??

From researching WW2, Russia basically won the whole damn thing. It’s why the war should be called the Russian-German War….

I just finished reading BLOODY ZION by Edward Hendrie, it was quite an eyeopener.

I think the Zionist Communist are very real and controlling the US Government, CIA/Mossad seems to be one and the same. I think their plans for a One World Government under the control of Zionist Communist owned U.N. is coming about.

I think inflation will spark an engineered famine for Americans that will bring down America which is their plan.

It’s too bad TeeVee Evangelists mislead Christians into believing that Israel and Jews are anything other than Satanic in nature.

Hendrie writes that the ZC give these evangelists lear jets and real estate.

I hope America wakes up and throws all these dual-Israeli citizens out of office, people like Feinstein and Schumer, McCain (gets a million$ from Jew lobby), they are anti-Americans.

The world need no more discussion, regarding the Zionist Jews, they are all criminals, directly or indirectly, and must face international law, like others.

They were behind 911, the assassination of Anna Lindt, Swedish foreign minister, and Olof Palme swedish prime minister. The truth will come out soon with the evidence.

It’s taken me many years to see it, but I can see it today. Jews are pure evil, and their intentions are pure evil. Rid the earth of this cancer asap, starting in Washington and Hollywood.

I pray that the good people of America will take back their country, very soon before the Jews have sucked it completly dry. Stand up America, stand up now.

WWI & 2 were actually a holocaust of the Germanic & Slavic Indo-Europeans.

Afghans are also Indo-European as well, see what happens to them! A nation of poppy plantations.

Why you Whites still can’t get it? Next will be the East Asians with all the GMOs & forced immunization on children performed by the traitors!

I just found out the following new hidden information point about the Holodomor that may not be generally known: that a great amount of wheat was sold and shipped to the USA from Russia in 1932 and 1933, and possibly this wheat came from the Ukraine.

Does anyone know if it was necessary for the US President FDR to recognize the USSR for the first time for the USA in 1933, as a requirement so that the USA would be permitted to import Ukraine Holodomor grain from the USSR in 1932 and 1933 to the USA, during this time of the middle of the USA Dust Bowl drought years ?

The Soviet regime dumped 1.7 million tons of grain on the Western markets at the height of the Famine. It exported nearly a quarter of a ton of grain for every Ukrainian who starved to death.

Please tell me if you have ever heard of this possibility, or if you think that it is possible that an actual hidden cause for the very fast speed of the Holodomor was the probable very high price of grain on the open market in 1932 and 1933, which was in the middle of the US very great dust bowl drought years.

Russia’s USSR would receive greatly needed cash payments quickly for this grain, and many USSR individuals would receive possible commissions for their services in the fast delivery of the exported grain.

I believe that this grain money exchange theory would really be the best explanation for the very fast speed of the Holodomor grain removal from the Ukraine, as there was the continual threat that the great USA Dust Bowl drought would end quickly, and then the very high grain prices would drop to the bottom quickly.

Could you recommend anyone interested in researching this possibility, or anyone who would know about this possibility?

It would be interesting to find out if Jews outside of the USSR were also involved in this money exchange theory, for explaining the cause of the very fast speed of the Holodomor.

I am a bit tired of the word “Zionists.”

Why don’t you just say the word JEW? There were NO Zionists in the Ukraine’s HOLODOMOR or South Africa’s Rothschild concentration camps, while they stole the nations wealth.

That started the “Rhodes” scholar b.s. indoctrination that most Australian politicians obtain, Like the Total TRAITOR “BOB HAWKE” — an honorary citizen of ISRAHELL.

Man I wouldn’t want to be a JEW. In time, you BASTARDS and your Shabez Goi helpers are going to PAY BIG TIME!

I guess this is why George Soros and the Jews are going after the Ukraine now.

There is also all the stuff that went on before Stalin took over.

It is a disgrace that people like me would never know about all this evil unless they went looking for it.

Yet the other stuff is pushed in our faces every single day, especially by the BBC.

Stalin’s Willing Executioners: Jews as a Hostile Elite in the USSR: The Jewish Century Yuri Slezkine, Princeton, NJ. Reviewed by Kevin MacDonald

The Germans in Russia became an elite without having an aggressively hostile attitude toward the people and culture they administered and dominated economically. The Revolution was the substitution of the Germans by the Jews. The difference between the Jews and the Germans was that the Jews had a longstanding visceral antipathy, out of past historical grievances, both real and imagined, toward the people and culture they came to administer.

When Jews achieved power in Russia (Putin: 85% of the early Soviets was Jewish) , it was as a hostile elite with a deep sense of historic grievance. As a result, they became willing executioners of both the people and cultures they came to rule, including the Germans.

The Jews had an irreconcilable hatred of Russia and everything Russian. Jews disliked the Christian religion of the vast majority of Russians becauseof the antagonistic relationship between Judaism and Christianity over the ages Jews distrusted the peasants, after the numerous anti-Jewish pogroms, especially after 1880 and Jews blamed the tsar for not doing enough to keep the peasants in check and for imposing quotas on Jewish advancement.

The mass murder of peasants and nationalists was combined with the systematic exclusion of the previously existing non-Jewish middle class, which would have no future.

About the shortcomings of the Germans [or] French, everybody could freely say the worst things but if somebody dared to speak in just and moderate terms about some undeniable weakness of the Jewish character, he was immediately branded as a barbarian and religious persecutor by nearly all of the newspapers.” Such attitudes were prominent among anti-Jewish writers and activists.

A culture of critique which fundamentally aimed at de-legitimizing the older American culture. And when people don’t cooperate in becoming a new species, there’s always murder.

Slezkine describes Walter Benjamin, an icon of the Frankfurt School and darling of the current crop of postmodern intellectuals, “with glasses on his nose, autumn in his soul and vicarious murder in his heart”, a comment that illustrates the fine line between murder and cultural criticism, especially when engaged in by ethnic outsiders.

Indeed, on another occasion, Benjamin stated, “Hatred and [the] spirit of sacrifice…are nourished by the image of enslaved ancestors rather than that of liberated grandchildren.”

Although Slezkine downplays this aspect of Jewish motivation, Jews’ lachrymose perceptions of their history—their images of enslaved ancestors—were potent motivators of the hatred unleashed by the upheavals of the twentieth century.

The vast overrepresentation of Jews in the radical left in Europe and America.

Lazar Kaganovich, the most prolific Jewish mass murderer of the Stalinist era,… Lev Kopelev, a Soviet writer who witnessed and rationalized the Ukrainian famine as “historical necessity”. He shed no tears for the Ukrainian and Russian peasants and nationalists who were murdered in the name of international socialism.

By World War II he attempted to rally the Russians to do battle with the Germans. Russian patriotism had suddenly become useful—much as, I would argue, harnessing the patriotism and high regard for military service among Americans has been useful for Jewish neoconservatives eager to rearrange the politics of the Middle East in the interests of Israel.

Vitaly Rubin, a prominent philosopher and an ethnic Jew, who recounted his career at a top Moscow school in the 1930s where over half the students were Jewish. They had achieved elite status.

Just prior to World War II, as Russians started replacing Jews among the political elite and Nazism emerged as an officially anti-Jewish ideology, overt Jewish identity reemerged. Following World War II, Israel began exerting its gravitational pull on Jews, much to the chagrin of a suspicious Stalin.

The visit of Golda Meir in 1948 and the outpouring of Jewish support for Zionism that it aroused was a watershed event for Soviet Jewry. Stalin reacted to it by initiating a campaign against public Jews and Yiddish culture.

It is interesting in this regard that the leading Soviet spokesmen on anti-Semitism were both ethnic Jews with non-Jewish sounding names, Emilian Yaroslavsky (Gubelman) and Yuri Larin (Lurie). Both refer to Jews in the third person, as if they themselves were not Jews. But when Larin tried to explain the embarrassing fact that Jews were “preeminent, overabundant, dominant, and so on” among the elite in the Soviet Union, he mentioned the “unusually strong sense of solidarity and a predisposition toward mutual help and support” —ethnic networking by any other name.

Obviously, “mutual help and support” require that Jews recognize each other as Jews. Jewish identity may not have been much discussed, but it operated nonetheless, even if subconsciously, in the rarefied circles at the top of Soviet.

An example not presented by Slezkine is recounted in a report of 1950 to the central committee on Jewish activities at an aircraft production facility: In a number of extremely important departments of the Central Aero-Hydrodynamic Institute there are workers due to be substituted for political reasons. They gather around themselves people of the same nationality, impose the habit of praising one another (while making others erroneously believe that they are indispensable), and force their protégés through to high posts.

Indeed, there is no other way to explain the extraordinary percentages of Jews throughout elite institutions, which became apparent when the purges began in the late 1940s (see below).

High IQ and achievement motivation can only go so far, and cannot explain why, for example, in the late 1940s Jews made up 80% of the Soviet Academy of Science Institute of Literature (Pushkin House), 42% of the directors of Moscow theaters, over half of Soviet circus directors, or eight of the top ten directors of the Bolshoi Theater.

In the case of Pushkin House, the opponents of the dominant clique stated that it had been forged “by long-lasting relationships of families and friends, mutual protection, homogeneous (Jewish) national composition, and anti-patriotic (anti-Russian) tendencies.”

The reality is that Jewish identity always becomes more salient when Jews feel threatened or feel that their interests as Jews are at stake, but Jewish identity becomes submerged when Jewish interests coincide with other interests and identities.

Among present-day Jewish neoconservatives, who argue that the United States has a deep interest in democratizing the Middle East.

The confluence of their interests as Jews in promoting the policies of the Israeli right wing and their construction of American interests allows them to submerge or even deny the relevance of their Jewish identity while posing as American patriots.

But if Israeli and American policy began to diverge significantly, Jewish interests would almost certainly control their attitudes and behaviour.

Indeed, since neoconservative Zionism of the Likud Party variety is well known for promoting a confrontation between the U.S. and the entire Muslim world, their policy recommendations best fit a pattern of loyalty to their ethnic group, not to America.

Jewish identity and the primacy of Jewish interests over Communist interests were commonplace among individuals who were ethnically Jewish Communists. Jewish spokesmen visited New York proclaiming that “the Jewish people—‘ethnic’ or religious, Communist, Zionist, or traditionalist—were one family”.

.

The only difference in 1928/1932 Ukrainian Holocaust is that the Komissars then were speaking Yiddish & today the speak Hebrew!

Plus the Ukrainian goyim is as stupid today as it was then!

We need to thank Mossad for 9/11.

It woke me up to the treachery of organized Jewry. I became interested in the holocaust and was shocked to find that it is largely a hoax. That was around 2005.

As a consequence, I lost my job. I was fired in a way that was designed to cause maximum inconvenience to myself and my family.

I was in Saudi Arabia at the time and the Saudi government had been forced by terrorist attacks in 2003 to submit to the Americans - and of course the Israelis.

In 2005 the Israeli parliament passed a law that decreed the global persecution of anyone who has discovered that the holocaust was a hoax. As a result of this law, the British Foreign Office had an agreement with the Israelis to hound holocaust realists.

In my case, I and my family were semi-covertly persecuted until 2012. This persecution began in 2006 and an MI6 agent explained it to me. I was repeatedly kicked out of jobs for no reason, and my Chinese wife was tricked twice into taking our daughter to China.

The second time she was denied a visa to return to the UK. I was forced to blackmail MI6 to get a visa for her.

I used the poisoning of former British Foreign Secretary Robin Cook, and the Jeff Gannon/Johnny Gosch scandal, which involved Tony Blair. I posted the stories of the internet and she immediately got the visa and was able to return to the UK after almost three years in China.

Jews are a very serious problem for us all. They are indefatigable troublemakers. It seems to be part of their religion.

Mysterious death of those who told the world about the tragedy of the Holodomor

I remembered that Natalia Dziubenko-Mace, the wife of legendary-scholar James Mace, in her article ” The Day of the Cold Sun”, writes that the faminе(Holodomor) topic even put some people in mortal danger.

The authors Volodymyr Maniek and Lidia Kovalenko suddenly died: Volodymyr in a car crash and Lidia from a heart attack. Death also claimed the life of Oleksa Musienko, who was the first to call the 1933 manmade famine ”Holodomor” on the pages of Literaturna Ukraina.

We can interpret those mysterious death in different ways but the Children of Cain tried hard to hide from the world the Holocaust which they did to Ukrainians.

In the Soviet and post Soviet times, relatively young people were dying from the natural heart attacks and mysterious strokes, in a car accidents, among them the influential people who could influence the masses.

Some people understood that these deaths were not by accident but no one could explain who and how organized the killings.

But the awful truth is that - Over a period of just 18 months, on the most fertile land in Europe, 10 million people, a third of them children, were brutally and systematically starved to death!

Ukraine Remembers - The World Acknowledges!

ADL accuses Ukrainians and strictly warns them not to talk about the famine as the biggest tragedy of 20-th century.

Only the Jewish Holocaust should be the only and real tragedy of the 20th century.

”Defamation - ADL bullying Ukraine into downplaying the Holodomor as serious as the Holocaust”

After more than 20 years of independence, Ukrainian pensioners, single mothers with large families of children, persons with disabilities – are also starving or half-starving today.

I’m wondering whether Stalin might have been ethnically Jewish.

Jews have been Christians and Catholics thru history, too.

The world is now being blackmailed by the Jews.

It is sad what happened to Hitler. He was a true patriot for his own country.

I had no clue, I came across an article someone posted.

I copied it out so I could read it when I had the chance and started researching after reading the Secret behind Communism. This really does blow my mind.

This needs to be told, people need to know the truth. My whole outlook on Jews have been totally wrong. The problem is people will not listen, they believe the Jews are the chosen ones, but how can they be the chosen ones and commit such evil to innocent people?

Now I am searching for more info. I want to spread this info around like wild flowers and get the truth out there.

I have yet to read in print or by the media regarding the over 650,000 ethnic Germans known as Danube Swabians in Yugoslavia.

They tilled the soil, created villages, lived in harmony with Croats and Serbs for 100’s of years. Their toil created the “Breadbasket of Europe.”

Oct. 1944 brought an end to this utopian life. First the Russians then the Partisans under the leadership of Tito, (Tajna Internazionalno Teroristitschka Organizalia), approximately 450,000 fled into Hungary in Oct. 1944 leaving all possessions behind, never to return.

Of the remainder of Danube Swabians, 250,000 were rounded up and put into starvation camps until 1948. The world thought the war was over in 1945.

Little did the world know what the Victors were doing to these innocent people, young and old alike were starved, mistreated, tortured and raped.

I know, I’m a Danube Swabian.

TITO, born either as Josip Broz or Josif Walter Weiss, a Jew from Poland, with his closest aide Mojshe Pijade and app. 5700 Jews, were active with TITO’s Partizans in the torture, confiscation of property and expulsion of the Danube Swabians because of their German heritage.

If you aren’t aware they pull the strings behind most of the carnage on this planet, you may be awakening to the truth.

It’s heartless and painful, but they believe the (Goyim) to be utter garbage. They’re to be manipulated and destroyed.

A lot of it comes because they were thrown out of most countries in west at one time or another. The reason being, they were parasites on the money supply. They always have been.

The modern age allows them to cover their tracks. They own the world bank (which someday will be our one world currency if not stopped). They own the Fed in every country that has one. You’d be shocked to know how many countries have a national bank and/or fed-like apparatus.

In the U.S. specifically, Lincoln allowed them in when he needed money in the war. 50 years later they specifically created the Fed in a blacked out train car.

Within 10 years, YOU CAN CHECK, almost all the gold was trained to the coast and out of the US. The Fed, if your US and don’t know it, is privately owned by them. “Debt Interest” all goes to them.

The list of outrages goes on and on, and this is without references the horrible atrocities of Communism, and the Holdomor, or any of the murder - and there has been tons.

The Vatican is owned and compromised. It’s a policy of DESTROYING Roman Catholicism to pay them back for the sack of the temple of Israel, and what they perceive to be persecution. Which apparently for the rest of us actually meant, keeping the menace in check.

Some of that is very weird because they are mostly Ashkenazi now. They are running free folks, poisoning everything that is not Jewish.

They are destroying the white majority in the US, and have had this plan since the 50s. You can find the interview in the 70s with the Jewish Aide Harold Rosenthal of the Jewish Senator Javitz. He was paid for an interview to give the secrets of organized Jewry.

This man did so, every single thing from that Interview has HAPPENED. When the host said, “What are you going to do when I tell everyone!” Rosenthal sneered and said, “Go ahead, We own all the Media!”

If you check his wiki (Amazing that Wiki freezes any entry on Jewish folk so you can’t add), he was “assassinated by Palestinians” the next year in Israel. Willing to bet that those “Palestinians” were Mossad, but what do I know?

This man gave away the blueprint, and almost 0 in US or world even knew. You can find this interview if you look hard.

All the best folks, gonna go hide before they find me too.

Btw, I don’t care at all who the majority is in America.

They just went at who was at the top. Patriots like Disney, Ford, - who wrote a 1000 page book on the dangers of European Jewry, and others - tried to warn America.

They just didn’t really understand we were bought by then.

Supposedly, Ford and his wife were almost run off the road and killed and his wife begged him to stop, so he disavowed it.

Disney, well you know what they do with Disney.

They now own both sides of the Political question with CNN and Fox, all owned through Disney. They have had openly Jewish CEO’s since Eisner.

I can’t imagine where Disney is now, but wherever he is, he is spinning.

Americans can’t seem to process that one company owns both sides of the political news. That tells it all. Both sides, bought, owned, and controlled by - the gentiles’ “best friends”.

If you couldn’t tell, I meant the parties too, not just the news.

All this talk about Jewish Bolsheviks and the role Jews played in the Ukrainian Holocaust. Is anyone prepared to listen to logic?

Yes it is true that there were a disproportionate number of early Bolsheviks who were born to Jewish parents. Let’s leave aside for now the social and political discrimination of those times that influenced them to join in that cause.

Almost none of them were practicing Jews in adulthood. Communism by its nature does not recognize or support religious expression. Many changed their names to distance themselves from their birth roots.

Most important, there are zero credible historical records that suggest that even a single one of the Jewish-born members of the Politburo, Secret Police and/or other perpetrators of crimes against innocent civilians did so in the name of the Jewish people, as a reflection of their heritage and/or anything related to their Jewishness. Their religion was absolutely incidental and irrelevant to their motives or actions.

To continue to use the actions of a few to fuel hatred towards the rest of a group under these circumstances is either idiotic or purely racist.

Consider this example and tell me how the parallel is different.

Catholics were disproportionately represented in the highest ranks of the Nazi party, the SS and the Einzatzgruppen (coming from Austria, Bavaria and other Catholic regions of the Reich). Would anyone in their right mind ever claim that it was Catholic Hitler or the Catholic SS who murdered millions? Of course not.

By all means, mourn the poor Ukrainians murdered by Stalin and his henchmen. By all means, hate the criminals who did this. But please, stop inserting the birth religion of the men and women who were guilty as a blanket condemnation of all.

The word Holodomor literally translated from Ukrainian means "death by hunger", "killing by hunger, killing by starvation", [26] or sometimes "murder by hunger or starvation". [24] It is a compound of the Ukrainian words holod, 'hunger' and mor, 'plague'. The expression moryty holodom means "to inflict death by hunger". The Ukrainian verb moryty ( морити ) means "to poison, to drive to exhaustion, or to torment". The perfective form of moryty is zamoryty, 'kill or drive to death by hunger, exhausting work'. [ citation needed ]

The word was used in print in the 1930s in Ukrainian diaspora publications in Czechoslovakia as Haladamor [27] and by Ukrainian immigrant organisations in the United States and Canada by 1978. [28] [29] [30] However, in the Soviet Union—of which Ukraine was a constituent republic—any references to the famine were dismissed as anti-Soviet propaganda, even after de-Stalinization in 1956, until the declassification and publication of historical documents in the late 1980s made continued denial of the catastrophe unsustainable. [31]

Discussion of the Holodomor became possible as part of the glasnost policy of openness. In Ukraine, the first official use of the word was a December 1987 speech by Volodymyr Shcherbytskyi, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine, [32] on the occasion of the republic's 17th anniversary. [33] An early public usage in the Soviet Union was in a February 1988 speech by Oleksiy Musiyenko, Deputy Secretary for ideological matters of the party organisation of the Kyiv branch of the Union of Soviet Writers in Ukraine. [34] [35] The term may have first appeared in print in the Soviet Union on 18 July 1988, when his article on the topic was published. [36] Holodomor is now an entry in the modern, two-volume dictionary of the Ukrainian language, published in 2004, described as "artificial hunger, organised on a vast scale by a criminal regime against a country's population." [37]

According to Elazar Barkan, Elizabeth A. Cole and Kai Struve, there is a competition among victims in constructing an "Ukrainian Holocaust". They note that since the 1990s the term Holodomor has been adopted by anti-Communists due to its similarity to Holocaust in an attempt to promote the narrative that the Communists killed 10 million Ukrainians while the Nazis only killed 6 million Jews. They further note that the term Holodomor was "introduced and popularized by the Ukrainian diaspora in North America before Ukraine became independent" and that "the term 'Holocaust' is not explained at all." This has been used to create a "victimized national narrative" and "compete with the Jewish narrative in order to obscure the 'dark sides' of Ukraine's national history and to counter accusations that their fathers collaborated with the Germans." [38]

In English, the Holodomor has also been referred to as the artificial famine, terror famine, and terror-genocide. [31]

Scope and duration

The famine affected the Ukrainian SSR as well as the Moldavian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (a part of the Ukrainian SSR at the time) in spring 1932 [39] and from February to July 1933, [40] with the most victims recorded in spring 1933. The consequences are evident in demographic statistics: between 1926 and 1939, the Ukrainian population increased by only 6.6%, whereas Russia and Belarus grew by 16.9% and 11.7%, respectively. [41] [42]

From the 1932 harvest, Soviet authorities were able to procure only 4.3 million tons as compared with 7.2 million tons obtained from the 1931 harvest. [43] Rations in towns were drastically cut back, and in winter 1932–33 and spring 1933, people in many urban areas starved. [44] Urban workers were supplied by a rationing system and therefore could occasionally assist their starving relatives in the countryside, but rations were gradually cut and by spring 1933, urban residents also faced starvation. At the same time, workers were shown agitprop movies depicting peasants as counterrevolutionaries who hid grain and potatoes at a time when workers, who were constructing the "bright future" of socialism, were starving. [45]

The first reports of mass malnutrition and deaths from starvation emerged from two urban areas of the city of Uman, reported in January 1933 by Vinnytsia and Kyiv oblasts. By mid-January 1933, there were reports about mass "difficulties" with food in urban areas, which had been undersupplied through the rationing system, and deaths from starvation among people who were refused rations, according to the December 1932 decree of the Central Committee of the Ukrainian Communist Party. By the beginning of February 1933, according to reports from local authorities and Ukrainian GPU (secret police), the most affected area was Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, which also suffered from epidemics of typhus and malaria. Odessa and Kyiv oblasts were second and third, respectively. By mid-March, most of the reports of starvation originated from Kyiv Oblast. [ citation needed ]

By mid-April 1933, Kharkiv Oblast reached the top of the most affected list, while Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odessa, Vinnytsia, and Donetsk oblasts, and Moldavian SSR were next on the list. Reports about mass deaths from starvation, dated mid-May through the beginning of June 1933, originated from raions in Kyiv and Kharkiv oblasts. The "less affected" list noted Chernihiv Oblast and northern parts of Kyiv and Vinnytsia oblasts. The Central Committee of the CP(b) of Ukraine Decree of 8 February 1933 said no hunger cases should have remained untreated. Local authorities had to submit reports about the numbers suffering from hunger, the reasons for hunger, number of deaths from hunger, food aid provided from local sources, and centrally provided food aid required. The GPU managed parallel reporting and food assistance in the Ukrainian SSR. Many regional reports and most of the central summary reports are available from present-day central and regional Ukrainian archives. [46] The Ukrainian Weekly, which was tracking the situation in 1933, reported the difficulties in communications and the appalling situation in Ukraine. [ citation needed ]

Cannibalism

Evidence of widespread cannibalism was documented during the Holodomor: [47] [48]

Survival was a moral as well as a physical struggle. A woman doctor wrote to a friend in June 1933 that she had not yet become a cannibal, but was "not sure that I shall not be one by the time my letter reaches you." The good people died first. Those who refused to steal or to prostitute themselves died. Those who gave food to others died. Those who refused to eat corpses died. Those who refused to kill their fellow man died. Parents who resisted cannibalism died before their children did. [49]

The Soviet regime printed posters declaring: "To eat your own children is a barbarian act." [50] : 225 More than 2,500 people were convicted of cannibalism during the Holodomor. [51]

Causes

The reasons for the famine are a subject of scholarly and political debate. Some scholars suggest that the man-made famine was a consequence of the economic problems associated with changes implemented during the period of Soviet industrialisation. [23] [24] [25] There are also those who blame a systematic set of policies perpetrated by the Soviet government under Stalin designed to exterminate the Ukrainians. [10] [52] [22]

According to some scholars collectivization policies of the Soviet Union and lack of favored industries were primary contributors to famine mortality (52% of excess deaths), and some evidence shows there was discrimination against ethnic Ukrainians and Germans. [53] The collectivisation policy was enforced, entailing extreme crisis and contributing to the famine. In 1929–30, peasants were induced to transfer land and livestock to state-owned farms, on which they would work as day-labourers for payment in kind. [54] Collectivization in the Soviet Union, including the Ukrainian SSR, was not popular among the peasantry and forced collectivisation led to numerous peasant revolts. The first five-year plan changed the output expected from Ukrainian farms, from the familiar crop of grain to unfamiliar crops like sugar beets and cotton. In addition, the situation was exacerbated by poor administration of the plan and the lack of relevant general management. Significant amounts of grain remained unharvested, and—even when harvested—a significant percentage was lost during processing, transportation, or storage. [ citation needed ]

In the summer of 1930, the government instituted a program of food requisitioning, ostensibly to increase grain exports. Food theft was made punishable by death or 10 years imprisonment. [54] Food exports continued during the famine, albeit at a reduced rate. [55]

It has been proposed that the Soviet leadership used the man-made famine to attack Ukrainian nationalism, and thus it could fall under the legal definition of genocide. [47] [23] [56] [57] [58] [59] For example, special and particularly lethal policies were adopted in and largely limited to Soviet Ukraine at the end of 1932 and 1933. According to Snyder, "each of them may seem like an anodyne administrative measure, and each of them was certainly presented as such at the time, and yet each had to kill." [60] [61] Under the collectivism policy, for example, farmers were not only deprived of their properties but a large swath of these were also exiled in Siberia with no means of survival. [62] Those who were left behind and attempted to escape the zones of famine were ordered shot. There were foreign individuals who witnessed this atrocity or its effects. For example, there was the account of Arthur Koestler, a Hungarian-British journalist, which described the peak years of Holodomor in these words:

At every [train] station there was a crowd of peasants in rags, offering icons and linen in exchange for a loaf of bread. The women were lifting up their infants to the compartment windows—infants pitiful and terrifying with limbs like sticks, puffed bellies, big cadaverous heads lolling on thin necks. [63]

Aftermath and immediate reception

Despite attempts by the Soviet authorities to hide the scale of the disaster, it became known abroad thanks to the publications of journalists Gareth Jones, Malcolm Muggeridge, Ewald Ammende, Rhea Clyman, photographs made by engineer Alexander Wienerberger, etc. In response, the Soviet Union launched a counter-propaganda campaign, whereby celebrities such as Bernard Shaw, Edouard Herriot, and several others traveled to the USSR, and then made statements that they had not seen hunger. During the German occupation of Ukraine, the occupation authorities allowed the publication of articles in local newspapers about Holodomor and other communist crimes, but they also did not want to pay too much attention to this issue in order to avoid stirring national sentiment. [ citation needed ] In 1942, Stepan Sosnovy, an agronomist in Kharkiv, published a comprehensive statistical research on the number of Holodomor casualties, based on documents from Soviet archives. [64]

In the post-war period, the Ukrainian diaspora disseminated information about the Holodomor in Europe and North America. At first, the public attitude was rather cautious, as the information came from people who had lived in the occupied territories, but it gradually changed in the 1950s. Scientific study of the Holodomor, based on the growing number of memoirs published by survivors, began in the 1950s. [ citation needed ]

Death toll

The Soviet Union long denied that the famine had taken place. The NKVD (and later KGB) controlled the archives for the Holodomor period and made relevant records available very slowly. The exact number of the victims remains unknown and is probably impossible to estimate, even within a margin of error of a hundred thousand. [65] However, by the end of 1933, millions of people had starved to death or otherwise died unnaturally in the Soviet republics. In 2001, based on a range of official demographic data, historian Stephen G. Wheatcroft noted that official death statistics for this period were systematically repressed and showed that that many deaths were un-registered. [66] Estimates vary in their coverage, with some using the 1933 Ukraine borders, some of the current borders, and some counting ethnic Ukrainians. Some extrapolate on the basis of deaths in a given area, while others use archival data. Some historians question the accuracy of Soviet censuses, as they may reflect Soviet propaganda. Other estimates come from recorded discussions between world leaders. In an August 1942 conversation, Stalin gave Winston Churchill his estimates of the number of "kulaks" who were repressed for resisting collectivisation as 10 million, in all of the Soviet Union, rather than only in Ukraine. When using this number, Stalin implied that it included not only those who lost their lives but also those who were forcibly deported. [67] [68] Additionally, there are variations in opinion as to whether deaths in Gulag labour camps should be counted or only those who starved to death at home. Estimates before archival opening varied widely such as: 2.5 million (Volodymyr Kubiyovych) [68] 4.8 million (Vasyl Hryshko) [68] and 5 million (Robert Conquest). [69]

In the 1980s, dissident demographer and historian Alexander P. Babyonyshev (writing as Sergei Maksudov) estimated officially non-accounted child mortality in 1933 by 150,000, [70] leading to a calculation that the number of births for 1933 should be increased from 471,000 to 621,000 (down from 1,184,000 in 1927). [ verification needed ] Given the decreasing birth rates and assuming the natural mortality rates in 1933 to be equal to the average annual mortality rate in 1927–1930 (524,000 per year), a natural population growth for 1933 would have been 97,000 (as opposed to the recorded decrease of 1,379,000). This was five times less than the growth in the previous three years (1927–1930). Straight-line extrapolation of population (continuation of the previous net change) between census takings in 1927 and 1936 would have been +4.043 million, which compares to a recorded -538,000 change. Overall change in birth and death amounts to 4.581 million fewer people but whether through factors of choice, disease or starvation will never be fully known. [ citation needed ]

In the 2000s, there were debates among historians and in civil society about the number of deaths as Soviet files were released and tension built between Russia and the Ukrainian president Viktor Yushchenko. Yushchenko and other Ukrainian politicians described fatalities as in the region of seven to ten million. [71] [72] [73] [74] Yushchenko stated in a speech to the United States Congress that the Holodomor "took away 20 million lives of Ukrainians," [75] [76] while former Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper issued a public statement giving the death toll at about 10 million. [77] [78] [79] Some Ukrainian and Western historians use similar figures. Historian David R. Marples gave a figure of 7.5 million in 2007. [17] During an international conference held in Ukraine in 2016, Holodomor 1932–1933 loss of the Ukrainian nation, at the National University of Kyiv Taras Shevchenko, it was claimed that during the Holodomor 7 million Ukrainians were killed, and in total, 10 million people died of starvation across the USSR. [80]

However, the use of the 7 to 20 million figures has been criticized by historians Timothy D. Snyder and Stephen G. Wheatcroft. Snyder wrote: "President Viktor Yushchenko does his country a grave disservice by claiming ten million deaths, thus exaggerating the number of Ukrainians killed by a factor of three but it is true that the famine in Ukraine of 1932–1933 was a result of purposeful political decisions, and killed about three million people." [79] In an email to Postmedia News, Wheatcroft wrote: "I find it regrettable that Stephen Harper and other leading Western politicians are continuing to use such exaggerated figures for Ukrainian famine mortality" and "[t]here is absolutely no basis for accepting a figure of 10 million Ukrainians dying as a result of the famine of 1932–33." [77] [78] [81] In 2001, Wheatfcroft had calculated total population loss (including stillbirth) across the Union at 10 million and possibly up to 15 million between 1931 and 1934, including 2.8 million (and possibly up to 4.8 million excess deaths) and 3.7 million (up to 6.7 million) population losses including birth losses in Ukraine. In 2002, Ukrainian historian Stanislav Kulchytsky, using demographic data including those recently unclassified, narrowed the losses to about 3.2 million or, allowing for the lack of precise data, 3 million to 3.5 million. [68] [82] [83] The number of recorded excess deaths extracted from the birth/death statistics from Soviet archives is contradictory. The data fail to add up to the differences between the results of the 1926 Census and the 1937 Census. [68] Kulchytsky summarized the declassified Soviet statistics as showing a decrease of 538,000 people in the population of Soviet Ukraine between 1926 census (28,926,000) and 1937 census (28,388,000). [68] Similarly, Wheatcroft's work from Soviet archives showed that excess deaths in Ukraine in 1932–1933 numbered a minimum of 1.8 million (2.7 including birth losses): "Depending upon the estimations made concerning unregistered mortality and natality, these figures could be increased to a level of 2.8 million to a maximum of 4.8 million excess deaths and to 3.7 million to a maximum of 6.7 million population losses (including birth losses)". [13]

A 2002 study by French demographer Jacques Vallin and colleagues [84] [85] [86] utilising some similar primary sources to Kulchytsky, and performing an analysis with more sophisticated demographic tools with forward projection of expected growth from the 1926 census and backward projection from the 1939 census estimates the number of direct deaths for 1933 as 2.582 million. This number of deaths does not reflect the total demographic loss for Ukraine from these events as the fall of the birth rate during the crisis and the out-migration contribute to the latter as well. The total population shortfall from the expected value between 1926 and 1939 estimated by Vallin amounted to 4.566 million. Of this number, 1.057 million is attributed to the birth deficit, 930,000 to forced out-migration, and 2.582 million to the combination of excess mortality and voluntary out-migration. With the latter assumed to be negligible, this estimate gives the number of deaths as the result of the 1933 famine about 2.2 million. According to this study the life expectancy for those born in 1933 sharply fell to 10.8 years for females and to 7.3 years for males and remained abnormally low for 1934 but, as commonly expected for the post-crisis peaked in 1935–36. [84]

According to historian Snyder in 2010, the recorded figure of excess deaths was 2.4 million. However, Snyder claims that this figure is "substantially low" due to many deaths going unrecorded. Snyder states that demographic calculations carried out by the Ukrainian government provide a figure of 3.89 million dead, and opined that the actual figure is likely between these two figures, approximately 3.3 million deaths to starvation and disease related to the starvation in Ukraine from 1932 to 1933. Snyder also estimates that of the million people who died in the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic from famine at the same time, approximately 200,000 were ethnic Ukrainians due to Ukrainian-inhabited regions being particularly hard hit in Russia. [60] As a child, Mikhail Gorbachev, born into a mixed Russian-Ukrainian family, experienced the famine in Stavropol, Russia. He recalled in a memoir that "In that terrible year [in 1933] nearly half the population of my native village, Privolnoye, starved to death, including two sisters and one brother of my father." [87]

Wheatcroft and R. W. Davies concluded that disease was the cause of a large number of deaths: in 1932–1933, there were 1.2 million cases of typhus and 500,000 cases of typhoid fever. Malnourishment increases fatality rates from many diseases, and are not counted by some historians. [88] From 1932 to 1934, the largest rate of increase was recorded for typhus, commonly spread by lice. By June 1933, the incidence in Ukraine had increased to nearly 10 times the January level, and it was much higher than in the rest of the USSR. [89]

Causes and Consequences of the Holodomor Genocide for the People of Ukraine

The Holodomor was an atrocious event also known as ‘Hunger Plague’, which began in the year of 1932 and ended in the year of 1933 causing more than seven million deaths. The Holodomor was designed to destroy the nation of Ukraine and especially the farmers. The goals of this genocide were collectivism and Soviet industrialization. The word Holodomor is a Ukrainian word which is used to describe death by hunger or starvation. The main areas that were affected by this genocide were central and eastern Ukraine. The Ukrainian farmers were forced to give all their harvest to the government which resulted in famine. The famine was caused by the Soviet Union, which made the famine look like a crop failure the brain behind his mass occurrence was Joseph Stalin, the leader of the Communist Party. The purpose of this essay is to describe the consequences that caused the Holodomor genocide, and the effect of the genocide on the people of Ukraine during and after the genocide.

Joseph Stalin was a Georgian revolutionary who was born on December 18, 1878, in Russia. Ioseb Besarionis dze Jughashvili was Joseph Stalinэs real name. Before Stalin was a charge of the Soviet Union, Lenin was in-charge. Stalin kept moving up the ladder and gained political support, but when Lenin died Stalin took his place and took full control of the Soviet Union. Joseph Stalin played a huge role in the upcoming of the Holodomor genocide, was that he wanted to expand Russia, and to make enough money for Russia as possible. Stalin wanted to remove undesirable people from Ukraine, and he did this by sending them to forced labor camps or did it by killing them. Joseph Stalin collectivized farming and executed enemies who could oppose a threat to him. Joseph Stalin saw that the growth Ukraine would lead in danger. As in 1932, Joseph Stalin said, ‘If we don’t make an effort now to improve the situation in Ukraine we may lose Ukraine’. The rise in the population was a piece of evidence that tells us that Stalin was motivated to make the policy for the Holodomor genocide. Joseph Stalin played a major role in the Holodomor genocide. Before the Genocide began many steps were taken by Stalin to accomplish his goal, which was to make Russia an industrial country. Stalin’s idea was used to feed industrial workers, he wanted to also provide grain, to be sold to other countries to make money, which could be used to finance his industrialization plans.

In the year 1928, Stalin made an agricultural collectivization program which forced people to give up their land and join collective farms owned by the government. In the year of 1929, the ‘Class Warfare’ policy was issued, because there were many farmers who refused to join the collective farms, and this policy was used to stop the resistance against the collective farms. Many farmers who were successful were brutally treated by the troops and the secret police were used to eliminate them at once. Many people became victims of the Dekulakization policy, which was a policy that put many people into trains and transported them to remote areas such as Siberia without food or shelter. Stalin made many police’s that gave an idea of what he was planning something very big. Life during the Holodomor was really difficult for people, twenty-five percent of the population was put to death. Another dreadful result of the Holodomor that many children were dead under the age of ten. Poor people would steal food from the soldiers to give to their children to save their life. When soldiers went to people homes to get the food they would take everything thatchy found, this was a decision of the government. ‘If you hid some food, they could send you to Siberia’. This was said by Kateryna Panchenko a person who had survived the Holodomor.

In the year of 1933, over three hundred thousand children were recorded dead in the Kyiv region alone. Most of the children died on the streets because starvation, which was a result of the orphanages and shelters to be overcrowded, and space left for more kids. In addition, two-thirds of Ukrainians children were also recorded missing from schools, and a large number of children were orphans or became homeless. Many people walked in other towns and cities for food when they ran out of food in their villages. By the year of 1933 as the famine was really critical, people were dying at a rate of 30000 a day in the area close to one-third of them were children under the age 10. There was food available in the cities, but many people of the cities were not allowed to help and doctors were not allowed to treat the poor villagers, who at the end of the day died on the streets. Many things took place after the Holodomor genocide which still affected the many lives of people, and many still continued to die from starvation. Stalin denied to the whole world that famine had occurred in Ukraine and he continued to export millions of tons of grains, which was more than enough money to feed the starving men, women, and children who were killed because of starvation. As Joseph Stalin wanted to accomplish his goal of making money for industrialization but his plan didn’t work out as he planned it would, because fewer grains began to be exported than before. Anyone that raised their voice against Stain was caused off spreading a disease. As many people who survived the Holodomor had to go through a mental break down because their relative’s died due to hunger caused by the lack of food. Throughout the year of 1933 and 1934 four million deaths were caused due to starvation within the borders of Soviet Ukraine.

In the end, Holodomor was a catastrophic event, which was a famine that caused seven million deaths in Ukraine between the years 1932 and 1933 by the Communist Party. A said in the essay, that Joseph Stalin refused to help the Ukrainian people, who were dying because of the famine, which was stared by the man himself. Stalin was afraid of nationalism in Ukraine, which he saw that as a threat, because of which he made the Holodomor destroy the Ukrainian national idea by wiping out the elite and their social support base. After Stalin decided to destroy life for Ukrainian people, life got uncomfortable for people as they started to die because of starvation. As a result of Holodomor, more than seven million people in Ukraine lost their life. People that hid food were sent to Siberia when they were caught hiding food by the soldiers.

The Holodomor was a deadly event that washed away many lives, as it passes away through the years of 1932-1933. ‘God spare us from reliving it again’. Said by another Holodomor survivor, Ksenia Datsenko. Many children were missing from school, which was also the result Holodomor and had caused a high children’s mortality rate. Many orphanages and children shelters were overcrowded, which caused an increase in the number of deaths of children caused by starvation.

The Holodomor: The Jewish Genocide of Christian Ukrainians

About three weeks ago, the US House of Representatives passed a bill mandating more holocaust education, as they say kids need to be taught history. That defense claiming the need to learn history falls flat rather quickly as no one in Congress will touch the subject of the Holodomor genocide of Ukrainian Christians.

Major Israeli Jewish news publication Ynet News said, “We mustn’t forget that some of greatest murderers of modern times were Jewish.” The Jewish mass murderer that the Israeli outlet is referring to is Genrikh Yagoda the former NKVD head and secret police official. He was responsible for the deaths of around 10 million people overall.

“The Bolshevik revolution in Russia was the work of Jewish brains, of Jewish dissatisfaction, of Jewish planning, whose goal is to create a new order in the world. What was performed in so excellent a way in Russia, thanks to Jewish brains, and because of Jewish dissatisfaction and by Jewish planning, shall also, through the same Jewish mental and physical forces, become a reality all over the world.” (The American Hebrew, September 10, 1920)

Genrikh Yagoda was the greatest Jewish mass murderer in the 20th century. Yagoda after the revolution rose very quickly through the ranks of the Cheka the first Soviet secret police.

The Cheka was founded by Vladimir Lenin and then led by Felix Dzerzhinsky, and the Cheka would unleash a sadistic red terror against Europeans, Christians, and Muslims who opposed the Bolshevik regime or was deemed a threat to their regime in any way possible.

The Cheka would use torture and execution methods such as, skinning victims alive, crucifixion, hanging, stoning to death, rape, hot irons rubbed on victims, being sliced to pieces, being branded with hot irons, eyes being gouged out, and burning coals were inserted into women’s vaginas. In a number of cities the Cheka would place their victims in a row of prisoners, nail their hands to a table, cut their wrists with a knife and pour boiling water on the hands.

The Cheka dissolved in 1922 but the sadistic crimes were only just beginning, and the secret police had a new name. In 1932, Joseph Stalin, Lazar Kaganovich, and Genrikh Yagoda unleashed an absolutely horrific reign of terror in Ukraine as well as inflict a targeted genocidal famine.

The Soviet secret police (GPU) would seal off the borders of Ukraine preventing anyone from coming in and anyone from getting out of the country. In less than two years the world saw the depth of the human capacity for pure evil.

The reason that this genocide was carried out against the Ukrainians was because of the fact Ukraine had been troublesome to the Communist Party in Moscow. Ukraine was the bread basket of Europe, had large production, a lot of agricultural land, and was more than able to feed itself. Stalin instituted the collectivization of farms across the Soviet Union, and especially in Ukraine.

The regime first heavily targeted the so called Kulaks which was anyone they deemed to be a rich land owner was either executed or deported. The Soviet regime forced many Ukrainian farmers to work as slaves having to fulfill these grain quotas that none of the people got their hands on. They would use every terror tactic in the book including executions, deportations to the gulags, and more. Many farmers and their families would face being killed or deported to gulags in Siberia.

Torture was common place, and sometimes the secret police would cut open the stomachs of victims and nail it to a pole and make the victim run in circles causing a very brutal and exceptionally painful death. People were buried alive next to decomposing bodies and then would be dug up after a half hour, women would be tied to trees and have their babies cut out from their pregnant stomachs.

As many disgraced Western journalists like Walter Duranty covered up for Stalin, Kaganovich and Yagoda’s genocide, it took more time for the evidence of the famine to get out at the time.

The first reports of malnutrition and deaths from famine came from urban areas, in January 1933 in Vinnytsia and Kiev.

In March, in Dnipropetrovsk (Dnipro) the famine spread and hit that region the hardest, and it also suffered outbreaks of typhus and malaria.

By around Mid April, Kharkiv became the most badly affected because of the deliberate famine being orchestrated against the Ukrainian people.

As the days went by all across Ukraine, the famine got worse, more and more people died, and desperate severely malnourished Ukrainians as an act of desperation resorted to cannibalism.

Around eight million Ukrainians, and three million were killed in this genocide that most of the world doesn’t even acknowledge as such despite the overwhelming evidence that it was a genocide.

In 2006, the Ukrainian Security Service declassified thousands of Holodomor documents that showed the Soviet butchers deliberately withheld any aid to Ukraine. The intent of the famine was very much to commit genocide against the Ukrainians, wipe out their language, culture, identity, and resistance to communist terror.

Regrettably the ruling class will not mourn the lives of the Ukrainians slaughtered in this genocide. There will be no bills that create a Holodomor education fund. There will be no funding of any education efforts to teach children about the Holodomor so they never forget what happened in 1932 and 1933. The only time our ruling class pretends to care about Ukraine is when they are given another opportunity to loot this long suffering country, and screw over its people.

Holodomor Basic Facts

The term Holodomor (death by hunger, in Ukrainian) refers to the starvation of millions of Ukrainians in 1932–33 as a result of Soviet policies. The Holodomor can be seen as the culmination of an assault by the Communist Party and Soviet state on the Ukrainian peasantry, who resisted Soviet policies. This assault occurred in the context of a campaign of intimidation and arrests of Ukrainian intellectuals, writers, artists, religious leaders, and political cadres, who were seen as a threat to Soviet ideological and state-building aspirations.

Between 1917 and 1921, Ukraine briefly became an independent country and fought to retain its independence before succumbing to the Red Army and being incorporated into the Soviet Union. In the 1920s, Soviet central authorities, seeking the support of the populace, allowed for some cultural autonomy through the policy known as “indigenization.”

By the end of the 1920s, Soviet leader Joseph Stalin decided to curtail Ukraine’s cultural autonomy, launching the intimidation, arrest, imprisonment and execution of thousands of Ukrainian intellectuals, church leaders, as well as Communist Party functionaries who had supported Ukraine’s distinctiveness.

At the same time, Stalin ordered the collectivization of agriculture. The majority of Ukrainians, who were small-scale or subsistence farmers, resisted. The state confiscated the property of the independent farmers and forced them to work on government collective farms. The more prosperous farmers (owning a few head of livestock, for example) and those who resisted collectivization were branded kulaks (rich peasants) and declared enemies of the state who deserved to be eliminated as a class. Thousands were thrown out of their homes and deported.

In 1932, the Communist Party set impossibly high quotas for the amount of grain Ukrainian villages were required to contribute to the Soviet state. When the villages were not able to meet the quotas, authorities intensified the requisition campaign, confiscating even the seed set aside for planting and levying fines in meat and potatoes for failure to fulfill the quotas. Special teams were sent to search homes and even seized other foodstuffs. Starving farmers attempted to leave their villages in search of food, but Soviet authorities issued a decree forbidding Ukraine’s peasants from leaving the country. As a result, many thousands of farmers who had managed to leave their villages were apprehended and sent back, virtually a death sentence. A law was introduced that made the theft of even a few stalks of grain an act of sabotage punishable by execution. In some cases, soldiers were posted in watchtowers to prevent people from taking any of the harvest. Although informed of the dire conditions in Ukraine, central authorities ordered local officials to extract even more from the villages. Millions starved as the USSR sold crops from Ukraine abroad.

The USSR vigorously denied that the Holodomor had occurred. Since the collapse of the Soviet Union, the Communist Party, secret police, and government archives that have become accessible to researchers support the conclusion that the famine was caused by Soviet state policies and was indeed intentionally intensified by Soviet authorities.
