Anchisaurus was a basal sauropod dinosaur who lived in the Early Jurassic period. Although it was discovered in Connecticut, in the Portland formation, it is believed that the Anchisaurus spread throughout the rest of the continent, as remains were found in much of the US and Canada, being one of the two recognized Sauropodomorphs in the area.
East small sauropod it walked on all four legs, but could stand on its two hind legs when feeding. Its slender little head had teeth made for crushing leaves.
